Save yourself some time and get your parts from StepUp Stairs, 100% satisfied
There are a lot of places to get stair parts but I am so happy I chose StepUp Stair Parts. It was a big purchase so I compared a lot of different companies. I was able to get everything I wanted, it was at the best price and everything arrived in perfect condition. I am almost through the install, I had to come on here to give them a big thumbs up!

Great
Great service. Emailed with questions and talked on the phone while answering many questions to place an order. Shipping was easy via freight to Florida and product worked great.

Perfect fit for 1 3/4 wood spindals
I cut out the wood spindal and it left a 1 3/4 in square space at top and bottom. The shoe from hardware store was only 1 inch and would have required drilling and chiseling... lots of work. These boots fit right in the hole perfectly, the post fits right in tightly. Put a little glue to hold in place and done. The only downside was the shipping was as expensive as the product.

Rubbed Copper barely Visible
I bought rubber copper balusters but the rubbed copper on the edges was barely visible. I did the same project on an earlier home I owned and the rubbed copper was visible from a distance.

We thank you for your product review, Stephen. Unfortunately, our rubbed copper finish may not have been to others details but also this finish is not an exacting science since it varies even among the same item since the copper finish is applied and wiped off to provide limited accents. This is the unique to this particular finish which varies among manufacturers and distributors even though the finish name is the same. It does seems unfair to provide a 3-star rating soling based on not receiving a "similar" finishes received from someone else. We strive toward 100% satisfaction and typical outstanding 5-star product reviews, just never thought we would receive a mediocre review due to someone outside our ability to change or control.

Like the product and the delivery time. Hate the fact that you can't return anything without stiff penalty and shipping costs. Will probably keep me from using you again.t

We thank you for your review of your experience with StepUP Stair! We highly value the superior value of stair parts along with our customer service; including quick turnarounds of many of our stocked stair parts. We appreciate your thoughts about our return policy which are clearly outlined online and discussed with you over the phone. Product returns do cost to return such as shipping, processing and restocking charges through our distribution facility. Our return policy is normal with similar business. As discussed with you, we recommend that it may be best to keep the products not needed for various reasons. Also, the shipping cost would be more costly than the returned items. For what its worth, your additional order placed for more items shipped well below our cost by nearly $20. We always strive towards all 5-star review, unfortunately we know that we may not satisfy each customer, in their eyes, 100%. We will continue to service each customer with superior stair parts coupled with customer service unparalleled.

Buy with confidence
My third time buying from step up stair parts and this is my first review. Couldn't have been better. They got my order right each time. The order was shipped out within one or 2 days of ordering and tracking info was sent. They are becoming my go to place for stair parts i cannot get from my local vendor.
