I need a refund. Its only one IP even though you can connect 10 devices. Not like other vpns where you can have multiple Ids. Scamalytics also recognizes the mobile Ip as a proxy network from ResiProx residential meaning the IP is not a real active carrier IP.
This was their REAL response:
"Explain what you mean by many IP's, who said this? Were you given fasle information before ordering? The answer is no. Please do your research and educate yourself on the price and value of mobile IP. No service provider will give you 10 dedicated mobile IP for $45/m.
Refund rejected."
This is how they actually treat their customers.
Response from StarVPNOct 21, 2026
Hello,
Our 10 device limit allows up to 10 simultaneous connections per slot, with all connected devices sharing the assigned IP address - standard behavior across commercial VPNs. If you require unique IP addresses for each device, additional subscription slots are needed.
Regarding IP flags, our residential and mobile IPs are sourced directly from real end-user connections. Third-party databases like Scamalytics can occasionally auto-flag an IP if the real host user runs third-party applications (such as passive bandwidth or cash-reward apps) on their local network. This reflects activity on a genuine user IP, not a proxy server.
Please reach out to our support team directly so we can assist you further or help review your account options.

“Failure to Honor Paid Services and Ongoing Billing Disputes”
My experience with this company raises serious concerns regarding billing practices, service reliability, and overall professionalism.
On multiple occasions, I was charged through an auto-pay system that I did not knowingly authorize after making a manual payment. This resulted in duplicate charges. When I requested a refund for the overpayment, the company was unwilling to resolve the issue directly, forcing me to dispute the transaction through my bank in order to recover my funds. In response, I was informed that disputing charges could result in termination of services, which I found to be an inappropriate and unprofessional policy.
Despite this, I continued using the service. However, I experienced repeated and unjustified service suspensions, even when payments had already been made and could be verified. These interruptions caused additional financial loss, as I was required to pay a technician multiple times to restore connectivity to my device.
The most recent incident is as follows:
- A full monthly payment was processed on March 17.
- On or about March 19, my service was suspended despite payment being completed.
- I contacted support and provided proof of payment, yet I was redirected between departments without resolution.
- Due to the lack of response, I initiated a dispute through PayPal.
- Later that same day, my service was restored, and I subsequently agreed to cancel the dispute once service resumed.
Shortly thereafter, my service was suspended again without valid justification.
When I requested a refund based on the repeated service interruptions and lack of consistent access, I received the following response:
"We will not send a refund and we are fighting the dispute.
You were actively using data days after you submitted the dispute. All of this information was submitted to PayPal.
Good luck and take care."
This response reflects a lack of professionalism and fails to address the underlying issue that I paid for a full billing period but did not receive uninterrupted service.
Between March 17 and March 26, my service was suspended multiple times, resulting in several days without access while still being charged in full. The company has also attributed payment issues to PayPal, despite evidence that payments were completed and disputes were resolved.
Based on this experience, there appear to be systemic issues including:
- Questionable billing and auto-pay practices
- Failure to accurately track and acknowledge payments
- Repeated service interruptions without valid cause
- Inadequate and dismissive customer support
I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.
Update:
Following a formal dispute, my bank has issued a full refund in my favor after reviewing the case.
My bank has confirmed that a billing error occurred and issued a full refund after investigation. This directly contradicts the claims made in the company’s response.
I stand by my original experience and do not agree with the claims made in the company’s response regarding “fraudulent activity.” The outcome of the investigation speaks for itself.
At no point was the situation handled to my satisfaction, which is why I pursued a formal dispute through the appropriate channels.
I will not be using this service again.
Response from StarVPNMar 29, 2026
Dear Arnesha Paula Quiro,
As communicated to you on numerous occasions, the billing dispute on the 17th of March was initiated by Paypal. The payment was withheld for investigation due to you being high risk and potential fraudulent transaction. Your StarVPN invoice was due on the 15th, we gave 2 extra days to pay and eventually the plan was suspended due to non-pay. This issue should be taken up between you and Paypal directly.
As a goodwill gesture we reactivated your plan on March 18th and provided you free service until the 25th of March (when paypal released the payment). You then decided to file a dispute and we refunded the payment and terminated your account permanently.
You then proceeded to send a slew of threatening emails to us, that if we did not reactivate your plan and provide you free service you would write a negative review.
I am sorry it ended this way, we wish you all the best choosing another residential VPN provider.

Bought a BusinessVPN on 30th of August
Bought a BusinessVPN on 30th of August. I requested a refund after a few days as it did not fit my needs, they refused. Okay that's fine. I ended up using the VPN, but cancelled the renew process. Instead of letting me use it up till the date I paid for which is one calendar month they cancelled the whole service immediately. So basically, I paid $20 for VPN but did not get the full service.
I strongly recommmend not working with this provider. Their customer support is also rude.
Response from StarVPNSep 26, 2025
Hello. I'm sorry the VPN did not suit your needs. Unfortunately our residential IPS are non-refundable. This policy is in place to prevent abuse and ensure that all of our customers are given a clean IP address. Once you use the IP we cannot resell them.
Our terms of service are clearly outlined and you also agreed to the terms of service upon checkout so this should not be a surprise. https://www.starvpn.com/frequently-asked-questions#1588853943317-05a9d172-e875
We also give customers a free 2-day trial to prevent said circumstances in which you were given as well.
You canceled the monthly subscription on your own and when you did cancel you selected "immediate" and not "end of billing period".
We are here to help you, please contact our support team and we will reactivate the service for one month free of charge.
Take care and all the best.

False advertising on their Free VPN+ package after review.
These guys are just scam buying fake referrals...they entice you with a Free Vpn+ subscription that offers similar like features to their datacenter plan if you give them a positive review here. However, the said plan is flawed with hidden restrictions such as you can only update your IP like twice, so once you change the location that's it, you're stuck to that IP for who knows what period. I have attached their said Fres Vpn+ requirements and features. You don't get the features as listed thereunder but a much lesser plan that has limited features, on further inquiry they tell you if you want more IP updates, you purchase them. I have no problem investing into a VPN, but why entice people to review your app with features you aren't going to offer them? Even free VPNs allow you to change locations limited to what they have. Mind you in the Datacenter plan they say is offered upon the review, has 500 IP updates. Further, any customer service request is only limited to paid users. Such a waste of time tbh. This is the correct review. They can dispute with facts. Also the reviews are majorly fake from the Free vpn+ they offer as you can see most 5* reviews are not detailed at all.
Edit; Unless you have changed the features offered on your Free Vpn+, I believe the wording is "Full feature set from the datacenter plan available." 'sic'. I fail to understand what full feature set means to you? I left a review as part of the instructions to try out the vpn+ package simply because of the full feature set, otherwise if the true information was listed, I could've made an informed decision, I mean from the list of features offered, I have to ask why I am not getting what is listed, you don't advertise a whole bull and give the tail and expect no complaint. Be upfront and state that the package has 10 IP updates, and its not a full feature set as there are many features omitted from the paid datacenter plan. Transparency avoid such squabbles which are pegged on incorrect information, be honest, that's all.
Also you proceeded to ban my account for no reason, just for reaching out to complain of the same.
Response from StarVPNSep 17, 2025
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our Free VPN+ plan, we appreciate your opinion. We strive our best to be as transparent as possible, which is why we advertise all the features of the Free VPN on our website - https://www.starvpn.com/free-vpn
We encourage users to post a review (GOOD or BAD) via automatic invitations upon plan activation. In fact, this is the first time a person has complaint about given a free service. The general consensus is extremely positive as you can see in our reviews.
I find it strange that you posted a 5-star review, enjoyed the service for a few days then decided to update your review after we refused numerous demands for 500 IP updates (paid datacenter plan). For obvious reasons - the free VPN is not a like to like as our paid plans - otherwise business would be BAD. As advertised we offer features of the datacenter plans including all countries and region and feature availability.
Thank you for bringing up your displeasure with the 5 IP updates per month, IP Addresses come at a cost, we must enforce limits on Free plans, that being said - we listened and increased the IP update limit to all of our Free VPN users to 10.

Refused to refund – poor service
I couldn’t benefit from the service, I barely used their IPs. I asked for a refund but they refused. Very disappointing experience
Response from StarVPNAug 17, 2025
Ismail, we refused to refund you because you opened a dispute and it's not possible to dispute a negative balance. Furthermore, we banned you permanently for violating our terms of services, we do not support users engaging in illegal activity.
Once you are made aware of this ban only then you decided to retaliate with a negative review. Thus making this review not admissible as you're not a customer of StarVPN.

techsupport - "special" guy. asked him say about residential IP - he send me data-center and sayed I show you res IP when you buy tarif. Genius
p.s. that answer say many things about service. "you're not our client so we don't show you anything even if we say that we show". for all clients, check their IP they use data servers - ISP. I asked - 1 residential IP and I take subscribtion. they gave me IDK maybe 5 and all was datacenter. When they sayed that they have residential - bulls..t. Don't believe them. Scam
Response from StarVPNMar 3, 2025
Reviewer emailed pre sales questions. The answers to his questions were not to his liking.
This person is not a customer of StarVPN. Just extremely rude and disengenuous.
