I clearly did not know I had chosen a Venture Club membership while reviewing my small investments in Start Engine. I requested a refund of the membership dues on a Friday evening and that request was honored early the next Monday morning. A large amount of money was involved (275$) and I simply could not afford it.

After a bit of confusion on my account, which was resolved satisfactorily, I am happy to have been able to invest in a startup that I feel has merit. As a former Stock Broker (Holder of a Series 7 & Series 66 Securities Licenses) I understand that investments made through a platform such as this are inherently risky, but great reward does not come with zero risk. I wish Porter Road the greatest success.
