I was struggling to track leads for my client's business, GA4 and Facebook just weren't cooperating. With Stape, after setup things started working right away to my surprise. we have opened a critical issue where stape proxy drops 20% of our events. we have provided detailed explanation to the tickets and curl tests that prove exactly what and where goes wrong. stape closed the ticked as resolved, without any answer.

Predatory renewal terms paired with extremely poor customer support. Their renewal is extremely hard to cancel, and even if you do cancel they will claim that you did not. Support is effectively useless, they refuse to provide any help at all, just copy pasting the same answer. Avoid this company at all costs.

terrible experience. I followed their step by step guide for meta capi, and it broke my pixel, and my ads were negatively affect because of it. Do not use it if you have ads running, the meta capi is not a plug and play like they say it is, it will turn off your pixel and hurt your ads

Based on our review of your setup, we found that your Meta Pixel was not properly implemented on your site, which is why the server-side tracking wasn't able to send events to Meta. We also communicated this issue to you. Meta CAPI Gateway works in conjunction with your Pixel, sending additional server-side events based on the data your Pixel collects. Since your Pixel wasn’t firing, the CAPI Gateway had no data to process, which led to the issue you described. I had my billing set to upgrade my account if I exceeded my monthly limit - this didn't happen (Stape admitted it was a billing mistake on their end) and my container continued running. Despite admitting it was their mistake, Stape then threatened to close my account if I didn't upgrade my plan for the next month (which was well under the usage limit of the plan I was on at the time).

I asked to remove Stape Care twice and they ignored me. Then followed up again and they canceled my subscription instead of cancelling the add-on. Support needs to do better. Communication and follow-through is not up to par. The actual service provided (sGTM) is good though. Follow-up: Support did end up making it right after multiple attempts and I believe they have learned the lesson required here. I look forward to growing with Stape into the future - it really does make SS Google Tag Manager and a number of other things turn-key.
