I wanted to check if their services is what fits what we need but there was no trial, got the subscription anyways since it said 30 day money back guarantee. It wasn't necessarily what I needed. I asked for refund without explaining anything. They replied right away: You're all set. I've cancelled your SpyFu subscription, and I refunded the $59 charge back to your card -- that easy. So wanted to give them a 5-star still for this. :)

SpyFu is a highly comprehensive app that provides you with everything you will need to handle SEO / SEM work. There are many great things that the app offers, and some of the ones I like the most are: 1. Its ability to work with ChatGPT, allowing you to work with an AI agent to go much deeper in keyword research and content preparation. 2. Visuals of keywords you share with competitors and ones you are lacking that they have. 3. Very easy to understand and use user interface. 4. Great competitor audit tool that gives you a glimpse of what your competition is doing. 5. Fantastic customer support if/when need be. I have been using this platform for five years now and have had great results with it. I can't recommend it enough for anyone doing SEM/SEO work.

I had a great experience using SpyFu because it made competitor research easier to understand, especially for PPC and SEO strategy. The domain overview was especially helpful because it gave me a clear snapshot of what competitors were ranking for and what keywords they were buying. One of SpyFu’s biggest strengths is its competitor PPC research. While it also has helpful SEO keyword tools, I think platforms like Moz, Ahrefs, and Semrush may offer more in-depth SEO features overall. However, SpyFu stands out because its interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate. I also liked the question mark icons that explain different terms, which made the platform easier to understand as I was learning it. I also think SpyFu has a strong pricing model for what it offers. Its plans start around $39 per month, which makes it more affordable than many larger SEO and PPC tools. I do wish it offered a free trial, though, because that would make it easier for new users to test the platform before committing. Overall, SpyFu is a helpful and organized tool for competitor analysis, PPC research, and keyword insights. It can feel a little overwhelming at first, and I think it could improve by offering more tutorials or even a certification program. However, the reporting/export options, API access, and ability to launch SpyFu into ChatGPT made it feel even more useful.

Had a billing issue I needed help with and honestly was not sure how it would go. Sidra from the support team was incredible. She listened, understood my situation, and went out of her way to make it right. Did not feel dismissed or ignored, which is rare. The tool itself is great for competitive research but what really impressed me was how they handled things when something went sideways. That is the real test of a company and they passed it.

I've been a Spyfu customer on and off since about 2014. I've usually cancelled my account only when I haven't had any clients or research needs to use it. Since September 2017 I've been on the Pro plan at $99 a month, upgrading from the $39 a month basic plan. Last night in looking at my business credit card statement I realized that Spyfu had been double billing me both amounts for eight months, for an overbilling total of $312.00. I emailed support last night about it and this morning they have already issued a refund. I've worked with a lot of SaaS companies over the years in my line of work, and the majority of them would fight tooth and nail on this or make up excuses - I'm happy to say Spyfu is not like those companies. On top of this, it is a great service for research, though like all SEO/SEM research tools the data is never exact, but only something to help set the table in discussing client strategies and tactics. That said, I plan on keeping my subscription as long as I have enough clientele that needs it.
