The maintenance is lagging in the rooms which used to not be the case for I have stayed at a Springhill suites hotel several times and notice each time something else is non working in the rooms. Last trip the breakfast options had been cut down considerably with only one attendant on duty and it used to be two of them. Same with the lobby desk now only one clerk day or night. I also noticed the hotel was not as busy as usual and one of the employees said that there had been a lot of changes made to cut back everything. My last trip to this hotel because the rates are ridiculously high and the amenities are being taken away.

OKC Weekend
Stayed at Spring Hiil Suites July 18-19. The reception at the hotel was first rate. Valet service unloaded my car to begin with. Check in was easy with no complaints. The rooms were very clean.
The front desk person named Nick had the ability to remember the names of all the people that were checked in. That was amazingly friendly. It is a trait to be admired. All I can say is Thank You Nick. You made my stay special.

The hotel accommodation was perfect; the shuttle to airport was not.
The hotel accommodation was perfect, and all the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. My mom, sister and I stayed one night since we had an early flight on Saturday morning and live out of town. I booked the Park-Here/Go-There package so I could leave my vehicle at the hotel for 8 days and take the early shuttle to the airport.
My mom is elderly and needs some assistance. I requested a wheelchair at the airport and fully expected, like other trips, that we would be dropped off at the passenger drop-off curb. That's not what happened.
We boarded the shuttle at 5:30a, the bus was full so the driver would be dropping off at several terminals. In all the excitement I wasn't paying attention to where everyone else was dropped off but noticed there was a lot of traffic and people around, indicating the drop-off area. When the driver arrived at our terminal he stopped and got out to unload our luggage, my sister and I helped mom get out of the shuttle and gave the guy a generous tip, I believe his name is Jose.
The shuttle left quickly and as we tried to situate our luggage, we noticed that we were 3-4 lanes away from the sidewalk and hardly anyone was in this area. We made our way to the curb expecting to get assistance with our luggage and hopefully a wheelchair for mom. We discovered the driver had dropped us off in the passenger pick-up area. Jose must have known this and wanted to avoid the traffic, obviously no concern for us. Due to his inconsideration we had to walk a long way through the airport, down an elevator and quite a distance to the United check-in counter. Mom was exhausted and all three of us were aggravated at the shear disregard shown to our family by Jose.
I called the hotel after getting to the gate and while waiting to board the plane. The lady who answered the phone listened to my complaint and then told me the manager wouldn’t be in until 4:00p, suggesting I call back when I could speak to him. I could not call back.
I truly believe Jose knew exactly where he dropped us off, but I can’t conceive the possible justification that he had. His one job is to get Marriott customers to the airport in a timely manner. Next time I travel, I will park in one of the paid lots, as I have always done previously. The EcoPark shuttles drop me off at the curb next to the passenger drop-off door and go out of their way to assist.
Traveling is stressful enough without having the morning start with such frustration.

As a regular customer of Springhill…
As a regular customer of Springhill Suites and I will continue to be. The customer service is excellent and for that I thank April who is awesome to deal with and resolves any issues if and when required. The rates are great and includes a big breakfast with many options to choose from with both hot and cold food. The restaurant selection for lunch and dinner is well worth staying there to eat. Rooms are large and clean. Pool and fitness center are well kept and very comfortable temperature in pool. Quick and painless check in and lots of parking.

If you are looking for an over-the-top hotel stay
If you are looking for an over-the-top, most relaxing place to exhale, and at the same time feel like you are at home, this is the place to be.
We are here for an extended stay and have gotten to know the staff, and I have to call out a few so you will know what to expect. From the front office to the top-of-the-line staff who help keep the place tip-top, eye-catching, and welcoming — it truly shows.
Robin and Sarah make sure the start of your day begins with a smile and a hot, excellent breakfast. Even while making sure everything is fully stocked and freshly made, they still take the time to stop, greet you, and make you feel at home. Sometimes I had to remind myself we were at a hotel because they have such a warm heart toward the guests.
The front desk team — Leon, Denise, Aliyah, Shane, and the rest of the staff
(I didn't catch all of their names) — are on their toes at all times. Denise handles so many things on her own; when she is the only one there, you would think it is several staff members making it happen when it is just her, bright and early in the morning and throughout the day. Leon, Aliyah( has that spark that will lift any ones spirit, with her kind heart), and the tall gentleman who runs the night shift (I can't remember his name) all have such bubbly personalities that make you put your troubles behind you when talking to them. They even make me feel extra special with my nightly runs for a hot cup of water that I need to sleep — the microwave just won't do. It's the little things that make my stay the best.
They greet you with professionalism and friendliness to the point of making you feel like you are talking to family. Any problem you may have is addressed right away. Even if it is not in their area of expertise, they will call someone promptly to take care of it.
The only issue we ran into was the hot water in the shower dropping to a warm temperature. When the issue was handed over to Kirk, he got right on it and made sure it was fixed quickly, and even explained to me why it happened. Most times you rarely get to talk to the person in charge of the issue, or have them take the time to explain what is going on. This really shows how much he cares about the guests and not just the job.
The entire cleaning crew — I tip my hat off to them all, Angel and the rest of the team — work so hard with such ease that they blend in while keeping the hotel white-glove clean. They make it look easy, but being here as long as we have, I know their job is not. They keep everything in place even when crowds of people are coming in at once and throughout the day.
I definitely cannot forget the back-office staff. You may not see them, but believe me when I say they work very hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. Denise, Dashanne Mathis, Pinkie Mitchell, Julie Stob, Micki Despard, and Daniel Coffroad — all I can say is professionalism at its finest. They know their jobs.
I cannot go without raving about the appearance of this location. I have been to many Marriott hotels, but this one is by far the absolute best. The bright lighting is what all hotels should have — first impressions are lasting. From the moment those doors opened and we walked in, the positive vibes made me want to stay.
The rooms are clean, bright, and comfortable before you even sit down. The couch, as a third sleeping area, is just as comfortable as the beds. I like how wide it is once the back pillows are removed to give more sleeping space. The pullout is very comfortable as well. The pillows and beds felt like clouds — I slept great all night and woke up refreshed.
I also like that the carpet and furniture are not dark like most hotels. It really makes a difference. The bathroom décor truly puts the icing on the cake.
If you are looking to relax outside your room, the outdoor furniture and fire pit are top of the line. The cushions on the couches, rockers, and chairs make enjoying the weather and time with friends even more pleasant.
The only suggestion I would make is that, since I can see this location being #1 around the USA, the parking lot may need to be expanded to handle overflow.
This is my personal opinion while here on both business and pleasure. There is so much more I could say — I may write more later. I believe in giving honor where honor is due, and you all deserve it.
Keep doing what you do — we will definitely be back soon. All of my clients who come into town will have this location on my reservation list.

They took $400 from us
My 19-year-old son created an account on Hotels.com, which allowed him to book a reservation at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty, even though the minimum age for booking was 21. When my son learned this, he contacted Hotels.com to cancel the reservation and get a refund. After numerous phone calls and over the course of several days, Hotels.com informed us that they were unable to obtain approval from Springhill Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty for the cancellation and that there was nothing else they could do. We called Springhill Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty ourselves, which took 20 minutes to talk with someone, and they told us there was nothing they could do. It's only Hotels.com that we, as customers, can deal with on the matter, and if they told us it couldn't be refunded, there was nothing they could do. $400 lost. We will obviously never use hotels.com again and of-course share our experience with them and also Springhill Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty on reviews and here.

I stayed at the location at 3950 Arco…
I stayed at the location at 3950 Arco Corporate Dr, Charlotte from 10/10/25 to 10/13/25 with my mother and younger sister. We also had 2 additional rooms 10/10/25 to 10/12/25. On 10/12/25, the fire alarm went off. My mother is disabled, we were in a room on the 2nd floor. She tripped going down the stairs and did an incident report. She reported the incident when it happened but the young lady was new, then the following morning, she reported the incident with the manager. The vice president of marketing also talked to us. Nobody has called her back and I can't sign into Marriott Bonvoy. It's like I'm blocked from the system. Because my mother is legally blind, I have taken her to several doctor's appointments. Is this how Marriott treats rewards members and people that are injured on the property?

I had a fantastic experience at the Chattanooga location!
I had a fantastic experience at SpringHill Suites Chattanooga. The location is unbeatable—right on the river with beautiful, peaceful scenery. I especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi and being able to walk right out onto the riverfront. The whole atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chattanooga!
