Excellent curriculum, mentees from all over the world, and great support staff. For a mentor, it's like sitting at your home and touring the world with every new mentee sharing their life experiences and seeking for suggestions & directions to get started into Data Science.

I genuinely enjoy mentoring for Springboard. My feedback is specific to the mentor dashboard. The new mentor dashboard has improved since first launch but it still seems buggy - if I have two calls scheduled back to back, e.g. 4:00 and 4:30, when I click to reschedule one of the calls both edit options show and overlap each other. I’m blocked from editing one because the other is open too. Another example is I lost my notes for a mentee call when I navigated away from the mentor call tab to look at a different tab. Thus I continue to revert to the old dashboard.

Great content and serious mentees.

As a mentor for 13 months, I’ve touched so many lives. Although, the monetary compensation could’ve been sooner rather than later to feel legitimized, it eventually came. From $30/session to $45/session, the pay increased because of mentor survey feedback! This was well received for me, it’s like an “Uber Driver” for teaching UX Design. The old distance education model at universities for adjunct part time faculty can’t hold a light against this biz model. Although, it still only peaks into about 10hrs a week max. Nevertheless, great company and management team has great culture from what I can tell. I recommend to colleagues in the UX space if you’d like a side gig to earn some extra money, but more importantly rabble rouser these boot campers.

Springboard is always very clear about the responsibilities of the mentor and always provide full support for us. The system for scheduling classes and getting matched with mentees has always worked to perfection and any questions I might have, are answered pretty much instantaneously by Springboard's staff.

This course was an amazing experience. I especially like weekly mentor calls and industry project. My mentor was very supportive and helpful. He gave me detailed feedback on my projects and assignments. Industry project was awesome. I worked as a UX designer with a real company. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to switch their careers or if you're just interested in learning more about UX design.

Springboard has been an awesome experience for me. I was able to learn so much about data science and really get the key hands-on experience that I will need when I receive a job as a data scientist. I also loved all the help I received from my experienced 1-on-1 mentors. It has been an awesome experience.
