I got pet insurance out of an abundance of caution, and I am so glad I did. You hope never to need it, but when you do, it is a life saver. Prices are affordable, coverage is expansive, and submitting a claim is easy. Not much more I could ask for.

Spot made it very easy to submit a claim. You need to fill out a few fields, attach the invoices and they take care of the rest. The only improvement i would like to see is a way to chat with someone during the process. They had my claim on hold for over two weeks because they said they needed more info from the vet. I gathered all the medical records from the vet that i could and added it to the submission, but yet they said they needed more. I would have liked to have had a way to communicate with them to find out what they needed, if i could help in providing that to them or something they needed to speak with the vet about. They were also very good about communicating there was s delay due to high volume at that time i submitted my claim, which i totally understand. Overall it was a very good experience, they paid claim promptly as a direct deposit. I love the ease!

Submitted the claim via photo of invoice. Quick response from app stating claim processing. A few days later the covered portion was deposited into my bank acct. Great customer service.
