It is not easy to fill out the forms and send in information. Then to have them returned because the Vetenarian bill does not have a particular element you are looking for. Then I have to go back to the vet to request the information and then scan it to send to your company.

The apps says 2-3 business days for claim to be direct deposited. I sent mine in two weeks ago and still haven’t received any funds.

I like how easy it is to submit a claim. But I received no sort of alerts or emails or information about the process of my claim (if it was approved, if it’s being worked on, how much I will be getting back, etc.) I have to constantly check the app if I want to know that information AND on top of that my insurance premium went up a few dollars this year without them even mentioning it to me which I do not appreciate at all.

I think the price is a little high. If your dog is young like mine and only sees the vet maybe twice a year for shots then I'm spending a lot of money each month. I do understand if something happens that could cost a lot then I'm covered. But the odds are in your favor for that. I will have to decide if I stay or go.

When I first got spot I have. A rescue so when u have a rescue u don’t know all the past and I had to keep calling and sending info! And it was a shit show until I got it straightened out now it’s good

Spot has been helpful in some ways. They do not seem to actually review high cost concerns, and you have to appeal for reimbursement. Such as last year my dog needed a root canal, which Spot will cover the tooth being pulled but not a root canal, however it being a broken K9 it was not recommended to be pulled by either vet. Spot did not want to cover any of the procedure because it was labeled as a root canal, even though they would’ve covered almost the exact procedure if the tooth was pulled, ie sedation, images, medications, etc. Spot also does not provide any information why something is or is not covered/reimbursed at the end of a claim. You have to go through their customer service to get answers on any claim. Now that there are several other pet insurance companies, I will be looking into others to see if there is better or easier coverage.
