Please do not bother to use this company. They take several weeks to review claims and then they find loopholes or other secondary issues as to why they are not able to provide you with any reimbursement. It’s a joke

Have paid three months premium for my two malti-poo's who are litter-mates. Took them to the vet office for their annual heartworm shot and received a one-page receipt with both pups listed on the same page. Spot counted one pup's shot as a "wellness" exam and the other pup's as an "illness" exam, therefore not counting the heartworm shot toward the deductible. Spot started requesting all vet bills from the past two years for Chip. Their website gave me an error message of 500 when I downloaded the 20 or so pages. Then it took five emails to attach all the bills to Spot, and now they're asking for "soap" notes from the vet's office. When I asked Soap's customer service rep why one pup's shot counted toward his deductible and the other pup's was refused, she changed the designation and neither pup's shot counted towards the deductible!

Very hard to deal with. Been trying to get help and can’t get an associate who is capable of helping. My insurance was cancelled without my approval. Never did I receive a letter on such cancellation. I had fraud on my credit card I had on file and gave them my new one which apparently they didn’t put in on. They are now telling me my insurance was cancelled yet I never received such letter All I am asking them to do is reinstate my policy and backdate as if it was not cancelled It’s funny how they have no problem signing you up but after that they don’t want to help

Customer service at Spot Pet Insurance is nothing short of terrible. But having individuals who can speak the English language would be a plus. Dealing with same claim for 2 months. Always give same excuse they don't have all the Veterinarian notes. I've sent them 21 pages of records 4 different times now. Always get same excuse. Need Veterinarian notes. I am beyond frustrated with this company.

Horrible experience. Incredibly rude customer service and misleading website. They told me it was my fault that I wasn’t reimbursed because I didn’t get the “platinum” plan. Waste of time and money. I was only reimbursed $20 for a $704 bill.

They deny claims for monthly seizure refills for my dog. They are asking for a prescription that includes the PRICE. Their customer service don't do anything, just repeat same request over and over again. You ask for a supervisor, not available. This is not acceptable and frustrating. They already received the invoice and the prescription from me and from the vet as well dated last week, yet they want a form from the vet that includes the price. I don't buy this seizure medicine from the vet.

At 6 weeks old I called Spot to get information about a policy for my new puppy. I was told I could set up the policy now - but that it wouldn't start until she was 8 weeks old and in our possession. I went ahead and did that to have one more box checked off and ready to go ahead of time. However - I was told the policy is invalid because the puppy is not 8 weeks old and in our possession yet and it would be canceled. I only set it up now upon their instruction. I'm ok with the cancelation but they wouldn't fully refund the money they charged - when it was their mistake. I was only following the agents instructions. Unfair to tell me to do one thing, charge me, and then not provide a full refund.

I took Mitzi to the emergency vet about two months ago. Filed a claim was spot and have yet to hear from them.
