Better than I expected.
I have thought about switching pet insurance due to lack of reimbursements in the past. Obviously their guidelines are in place as far as what qualifies, but my thought was I’d rather pay more a month and have better benefits than pay less so I was definitely thinking about moving on. Turns out, my reimbursement this time around was much better than before. My premium also increased this past renewal so maybe there is a correlation. 😊 All in all this most recent reimbursement gave me pause on switching.

Overall a great pet insurance
SPOT is overall a great coverage for my pet. The agent took the time to answer all my questions before I signed up. Although it can sometimes take a bit longer than I would like to process claims, the app makes it easy to submit claims and the reimbursement is deposited directly to my account. I would definitely recommend SPOT pet insurance.

What's happening to Spot Pet Insurance
Overall, I like this insurance. However, their customer service is terrible. I had an issue with one of my claims and I reached out to resolve it and they never responded, no matter how many times I followed up. Also, they decided not to renew my policy and handed me off to another insurance company without explaining. Sounds suspicious. I want Spot Pet Insurance, not random insurance; I don't care.

It took me awhile to figure out which…
It took me awhile to figure out which documents were needed for my claim but after submitting through the mail, I was very hsppy with the result.

I like that the money came back fast…
I like that the money came back fast but curious why i only got 372 and not the whole 563?

Took over 2 weeks to get my…
Took over 2 weeks to get my reimbursement. This was uncharacteristic of Spot. Not sure if I’ll be keeping the policy.
