Affordable Pet Insurance
Spot Pet Insurance is one of the most affordable pet insurance I have found. The accident and illness option has help me offset a vet bill I had in an emergency situation I had with my dog. However, when it comes to preventative care, the reimbursement options could be better. Customer service is excellent and the help they have given me is priceless. I would have given 5 stars if there were more options for preventative care. All in all, I'm happy with Spot Pet Insurance.

Overall Good Experience
Overall, I think Spot Pet Insurance does a great job of responding to claim submissions and staying true to their word. I (thankfully) haven't had any emergencies with my dog as of yet, but I think their premium amount and deductible are very reasonable for what I'm getting. And I appreciate how communicative and timely the company is with the claims I've submitted for preventative services.

Prescription dosage
Although I appreciate the quick response, I’m not sure all of the benefits are adequately explained. For instance, our dog takes Trifecsus monthly but only one 6 months dosage was covered. What good does that do?

Rate hike after claim
Quick payment. Only complaint would be as soon as my claim was paid, my insurance monthly payments went up another $11.00. This is the second time my payment went up after submitting a claim.

Spot has been there when needed
Spot has been very helpful in wellness suggestions for my dog and when he suffered a stroke, Spot was there again to guide and make quick payments on claims I submitted. There were weeks I feared I would lose my dog and seeing a vet up to 5 times a week can add a financial burden to a stressful time that only adds to the fear and stress. Spot helped to alleviate some of this burden when most needed.

Spot was so prompt processing my claim
Spot was so prompt processing my claim. It was great to learn pretty immediately how much was covered. It was not so great to see how little was covered, but that’s on me, I suppose as I should know what I am paying for.
