A puppy cannot have a preexisting condition. It's a puppy. We literally got our puppy at 8 weeks old and got insurance a month later. It's a healthy little puppy. Moreover, "diarrhea" is not a preexisting condition. It's a "symptom" and it's "caused" from different conditions!! I guess "bleeding" is a preexisting condition too. The good reviews of SPOT must be fake. Sort by one star and do your research there. Every claim you have will be denied.

This company stalked this review and attempted to get my personal information. I say dont like what u see, be better. Dont silence your victims. The pettiness of a billion dollar company. And they edit their reply daily lol. This is spot pet insurance. I find that this spot pet insurance company will chase down negative reviews and then accuse whatever company including trustpilot of defamation if they keep honest negative reviews, even though it's completely legit and even if u remind them of 1st amendment rights. This company failed to process completely legitimate claims on a brand new puppy and then jerked me around and refused to speak to me. I had to get the BBB involved. They were extremely difficult and dishonest.

I have an American Pocket Bully. I rescued from the Humane Society. She had issues I was unaware of. I tried every single thing I could to figure out what was wrong. I even did testing. Which caused her to preexisting under every circumstance that falls under allergies. Even if she never had conditions. Ear infections are prex even though they heal and go away. My favorite is any skin infection including a Staphylococcal bacteria is to them allergy related. I only keep it for an emergency really. It’s not worth the cost and the wellness is a joke. I’m dropping that benefit with next renewal.

You have to pay out of pocket first (full amount) and you’ll only get 1/4 $ back. What’s the point? $840/ year and you’ll be lucky to even get $250 back.

Never received my checks. Both total about a thousand dollars. I have proof from my bank that I did not receive the checks and they told me sorry the checks were cashed. Definitely don’t trust their service.

Filed claim and didn’t get an option for direct deposit so have to wait a week for them to mail a physical check.

False and deceptive transactional messaging. Will promise you a check in 5-7/10 business days but then will tell you to wait 30 days! They Have absolutely no issues taking out your money but every issue giving it back. I switched to spot from lemonade because it was cheaper now I see why. Worst mistake I have ever made!

Took my dog to the vet and did a claim they sent it too the vet they had to cancel that check and still waiting for the check I called them and their stating that they have too reissued me another check
