I pay around $60 a month, his bill for vaccines was $142 but was only reimbursed $50. Basically only 1 and a haf of the vaccines was paid for. I spend more money then they reimbursement.

Get a little frustrated we have to keep sending records they have from years ago over and over. They HAVE THEM! Why do we have to keep giving you old information over and over and over again??????

It's a shame I can only get one annual checkup reimbursement for my adopted dog. I'm still paying some for that checkup. But, I even on social security, will take Topie in twice a year to see the vet. I will just have to pay the entire bill for second checkup for him.

Sometimes have to submit claims twice or call customer service to get a claim paid.

The response to my information submitted was excellent. Claims processed quick and payment indicated quickly as well. However, I am confused. When I signed up it indicated that I would receive 80% reimbursement. In most of the claim responses, I probably got back more like 25%. This is certainly better than nothing, but I may need to rethink what I am getting back for what I pay monthly.

All claim decisions are based on your pet’s medical records and the signs/symptoms that are noted in those records. Most pet insurance providers including Spot use a pet’s medical records provided by your veterinarian to determine if there are any pre-existing conditions that would keep us from approving a claim.
