There seems to be a very small user base in this community.

There's nothing wrong with the site, per se. I went on this site thinking that I would find maturity. I was wrong. This is just another dating site of people who are looking for love in too many faces. However, I have made a dear friend with someone who lives in Australia (I live in the US), so it's been worth it. But I am tired of putting out energy, only to find that in a short time the connection I thought was there is gone. The members have little depth, like most of other sites. The only difference is that the members make themselves out to be spiritually beautiful.

That is not what we normally hear, so sorry that has been your experience. I'd suggest giving it some more time, as we have amazing members and thousands of success stories over the last 21 years.

I found the platform interesting at first. There is a « matching system » that look well organized at first but just don’t deliver any expected result, as far as helping to match some other profilevto yours... well, that is my conclusion so far. There is also the factor of being « visited » by people from which their background haven’t been checked (like any social platform anyway) and chances to start being approached by « scammer » is also very likely to happen. And, in general, despite the profile one can visit and attempt to communicate with, for some reasons, the response rate is quite low. Not sure if it comes from issues from the platform itself, or just coming from members being hàlf involved or even worst, barely following up their presence on the site. So, all in all, so far, not a good experience for me. Just wish I can be re-imburse for my investment. I don’t recommend it.

Hi there, As far as background checks go, we are one of the few dating sites that offer them. When members have done them, you will see a green checkmark on their profile. We actually have very few scammers, as we do rigorous screening to prevent access. A few do get past our screening every now and then, as it's impossible to catch them all, so if you ever come across someone you suspect, please use the "Report a Member" feature to alert us and we will investigate and take action when needed. And, lastly, you can see when someone last logged in right under their headshot so you can know when they were last on site. We have thousands of active members and thousands of success stories that have been fostered by Spiritual Singles over the last 2 decades, so we certainly encourage you to give it a shot! It really does work. We wish you the best, much love.

Eh, not that many active matches that have been on the website frequently. Most of the matches haven't been on for over a year. I wouldn't pay for this again. I really appreciate the concept of this dating site though.
Response from Spiritual SinglesOct 19, 2020
Glad you appreciate the concept. We do allow free members unlimited access to search the database before upgrading, so there are no surprises. And, if someone hasn't been on for a while, by all means, send them a message. They will receive a notification and usually come back on. Don't let that dissuade you! We hope you meet your special someone! Much love.

Not enough new people (or men in general). I see mostly the same guys that were here 10-15 years ago & nothing has been updated on their profiles. I wonder if they are still online or looking. I like that we can hone in on common interests so we don't have to waste time communicating with someone has preferences that are "no go's" for me.
Response from Spiritual SinglesMay 5, 2020
Hi there, You can see when someone has last logged in, right under their photo once you open their profile. We have thousands of new members join each month, so I'm sure there are many new faces if its been a while since you logged in. We appreciate your years of loyalty and hope that you meet your special someone, and hope that you'll consider revising the star rating, based on the site itself. Thanks, much love to you.
MARIE M.
I am quite new but disappointed in very few matches in my age range.
Response from Spiritual SinglesApr 8, 2020
Hi Marie, I see that your age range is 65 to 84. Unfortunately, on any dating site, this is the least populated age range for men. We do have more men in this age range than many sites, so we'd recommend expanding your search and matchmaker preferences a bit to see more. If you need help with this, please contact our wonderful support team: [email protected]. We wish you success! Much love.

I LOVE the idea of this site, but the execution is less than mediocre and there are 2 people other than myself in my entire state that are on here. This would probably be a better experience living in Europe as that's where most the people seem to be who utilize this site.

Hi there, I just checked your Matchmaker Preferences and you have some limiting criteria that is filtering out many of our members. Please contact our fabulous support team for some guidance, as we have hundreds of members in Utah. Granted, its one of the less populated states, however, we have a lot more than 2 members there! [email protected] We hope you'll also expand your geo-range to see more members. Your soulmate may not live within 100 miles. Wishing you the best. Hope you'll give it some time. We've been doing this for 20 years and have thousands of success stories.
