I own a very reactive (people and dogs) 15 month old dachshund. This course has helped me better understand what is driving her behaviour. I have begun to apply this new (for me) approach and already, I have a calmer dog and I am a calmer owner😊. I am really happy I came across Spiritdogtraining when I did!

I have a very reactive staffy bull terrier; reactive to both people and animals. This course has equipped me with the knowledge and understanding to truly help my pup. I appreciate that the course is a combination of reading and video. Explanations are excellent and always given with examples or supporting info.

The Spiritdogs reactivity course has been so valuable for us. The components and, importantly, the rationale for these are broken down in manageable, easy to follow steps. Packed with great tips for engagement and management of reactivity in a variety of real life situations, as well as downloadable resources like recipes and game sheets. For just half the price of a single training session too! Highly recommend :)

We have been working through the Tackling Reactivity program with our 10-month-old Lab. Unfortunately, he missed out on the most important socializing stages as a puppy due to the pandemic and the lockdowns in our area. This program has really helped us learn how to help him overcome his fears and be more successful on his walks and when meeting people and dogs.

I have two reactive dogs and have been working with them using positive reinforcement and counter conditioning with some great face to face trainers and other online courses. Despite having some knowledge already I am finding the Spirit Dog course informative and clear. It has improved my understanding of the reactivity and how the training works and given some good tips that are making our sessions more effective.

I recently adopted a dog from Spain who I was told was good with other dogs. Turns out he is not! After searching online for help I decided to give spirit dog training a go. The lessons seemed so simple I couldn't see how they would help my dog but I was so wrong!! My dog is improving everyday and seems so much happier in himself! So much so that I have now also signed up for the confidence boosting course! the support is fantastic, any questions I have asked have been answered in detail straight away. I highly recommend spirit dog training and thank them for their help.

I am a dog trainer and deal a lot with reactive dogs. I decided to undertake the reactive dog course to review how I manage and handle the clients and their dogs. It is run so well for the general public and makes things so easy to understand and follow, well worth the money. We need more trainers like this on line.

We are about 1/2 through the course - and already loving it! Everything is very simply explained - From the theory behind, the practical stuff, preparation, what to expect and the actual training. I love that it has text, illustrations, videos, comments and answers and short quizzes. Steffi (the trainer) seems very empathetic and conveys great patience and understanding of the struggles and frustrations that come with having a reactive dog. We've only just started, but I've seen changes, and my whole attitude to working with my boys reactivity has changed - I feel confident, optimistic and in safe hands with this course and trainer! I highly recommend this course for anyone struggling with a reactive dog - and who does not wish to use aversive methods :)
