I completed a six week intensive training with my Goldendoodle puppy Penny to address some reactivity issues. We got her as an 8 week old puppy, but just after we got her, out job situation was changing and we didn't have as much time to take care of her as we would have wanted. That meant delayed socialization etc. and when we actually did occasionally find the time to go out Penny was very reactive to dogs and people. Barking at them from across the park, pulling the leash, etc.. We finally had enough and signed up for this six week class with Spiritdogtraining, and it made a huge difference. We worked with our trainer Paige, and now our doggy is finally able to take walks in the neighborhood without it becoming a fight between us! Paige was really helpful and attentive, and personalized the training to our routine and schedule. This definitely made all the difference and both us and Penny are much happier with each other. We signed up for another six weeks now, to learn more about how to train Penny. Maybe one day we can even do off-leash walks in the national forest :-).

I have a Corgi who has struggled with reactivity, and SpiritDog has honestly been phenomenal for us. Before finding them, I felt like I was constantly second-guessing myself and wondering whether I was handling certain situations in the right way. Reactivity can be really overwhelming because every walk or new environment can feel unpredictable, and it’s easy to feel like you’re trying lots of different things without really knowing what is actually helping. What I’ve loved about SpiritDog is how much more clarity and structure I’ve felt since working with them. It doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all approach where you’re just given the same advice as everybody else. There is so much emphasis on understanding the individual dog, their triggers, their behaviour and what is realistic for you in everyday life. That has made such a difference for me because I feel like I understand my Corgi so much better now. Instead of immediately panicking when something happens or feeling like we’ve gone backwards, I feel much more confident in how I respond and what I should be focusing on. I also really appreciate that the training feels achievable. It hasn’t felt like I need to completely rearrange my life around dog training. It’s much more about having clear things to work on, being consistent, and understanding why you’re doing them. There’s still work to do, which I think is completely normal with reactivity, but I feel so much more positive about where we’re heading and much more equipped to support my dog properly. Even just having that confidence and knowing I’m not constantly guessing has been such a relief. I’m genuinely so grateful I found SpiritDog and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who has a reactive dog and wants proper guidance, structure and support rather than feeling like they have to figure everything out alone.

I used the spirit, dog training app and paid for a yearly membership and also bought additional courses. I received an email that my auto renew was coming up in August and I sent an email saying that I would not be renewing and to make sure that the auto renew is canceled. Keep in mind I still have a few more weeks of access to this app which I paid for instead they completely cancelled it I should’ve had access up until my renewal date. Update to their response they did not send any further email besides, your membership is cancelled. Just stop, I sent 3 follow up emails. There’s nothing in my spam- I’m not an idiot. There was no further communication and I don’t want further communication. You shouldn’t have cancelled it outright you know you’re in the wrong. Leave me alone. And quit lying saying that you’ve rectified this. Check the other forums this is a habit that you seem to do. Do not contact me. And I will justify this review over and over and you’re making it worse by lying about it.

We did the 6-week intensive training program for our reactive dog, Lady. Our trainer, Victoria, is fantastic. There were daily check ins and once a week video calls. We learned so much! I recommend Spirit Dog and, in particular, this program for folks like me who really didn't know quite where to begin. Victoria helped us focus on daily tasks and was there to cheer the victories and motivate us through the setbacks.

We got a new puppy, it had been 15 years since I had done any puppy training. I started this puppy training program as soon as I got him & he is the most trained well behaved dog I have ever had! Training right from the beginning is so much easier then correcting a problem later. I would recommend this to others
