Bought a low-mileage (37k) 2019 Roushcharged F-150 to replace my 23 year old GMC Sierra c3 with 256k miles. My online research revealed that this series of F-150 has some longevity concerns with the transmissions, differentials, etc, and wanting this truck to last as long and trouble-free as my previous one, starting looking into aftermarket parts that would make it more dependable and prolong it's service life. I'm talking about things that make more frequent fluid changes easier or faster...things like rear differential covers and transmission pans with drain plugs, catch cans, etc. Came across SpeLab during my online research and really liked the design of their rear differential cover with the curved design and milled in fluid distribution vanes to make oil flow to the necessary areas of the rear diff (the squared off aftermarket covers don't do this as the oil slings off the diff gear). The fact that it has a magnetic drain plug to capture any ferrous gear wear or debris, offer a stronger billet option (vs cast), and incorporates a sight glass so I could get the level exactly correct and easily monitor it between fluid changes were the main selling points. Ordered after an exchange with tech support to make sure I got the right version (9.75 rear end with 3.73 drive ratio). Arrived in a reasonable amount of time, installed it with a LubeLocker gasket so it would remain leak free for a really long time (they do include a regular gasket for those that don't want to pay extra for the LubeLocker version). Cleaned the mating surface up really well, installed it - fitment was perfect - and it's a great looking cover - even arrives with a protective plastic over the SpeLab logo that can be removed after install. With the level kit on my truck it's visible from underneath and adds a little purpose built flash to this Roush F150. 100% satisfied with the product and my experience with them.

My experience with Spelab from start to finish was really awesome. There website is extremely easy to navigate which to me is all the difference. I don’t need much and I get lost on the web anyways but not with these guys. And what makes things even better being able to return stuff when you don’t need it these guys at Spelab was on top of things as soon as I emailed them next thing you know I get email with everything i need to exchange parts.If you you need a aftermarket part for your diesel truck I’m telling you Spelab is the place the quality was great the service was great you cay go wrong with these guys!!!!!
