Started out good.Sharp decline from there. Placed an order, after 3 weeks I inquired as to delivery eta, product hadn't even been considered for delivery yet. Talked to 2 nice associates,but the 3rd couldn't care less that I'd canceled my order, and left a ton of business on the table to buy elsewhere. Lower prices = frustration and empty promises. Lots of other reputable places to buy from.

Ordered 4 baby moons which did not fit. I have no problem with this because I obviously ordered the wrong items. I paid $68.99 for the baby moons. The whole invoice including tax, shipping and handling came to $103.09. When I called customer service I was informed that these definitely should fit. I tried again and they definitely did not fit. I called again and finally was given a return authorization. I have problems with the amount I received for the returned items. Originally I paid $6.74 for tax but on the return I received only $4.83. I also had to pay a restocking fee of $15.00. Therefore, the refund was only $58.83. The baby moons cost $68.99. I thought I would at least get the $68.99 plus tax of $6.74. This is why I mostly order from suppliers like Amazon who do not charge a restocking fee. There is also no hassle returning items. Therefore, will not purchase again from Speedway Motors.

Ordered a complete efi fuel tank kit for a 73 firebird. It was shipped promptly. When my mechanic got the fuel pump out of its box it had a broken plastic nipple for the hose fitting. Speedway sells the exact part online and it was in stock .I offered to buy the pump from them and ship the broken one back for a credit to my account. The service rep refused to do it and said I had to send the whole kit back which would have cost them much more money in shipping. A company which shows this type of idiotic intransigence is not getting my business anymore.

Buyer beware, Speedway Motors charges tax on shipping to California residents. They justify this profit adder by calling it "shipping and handling". In 77 years of life this is the first time I have ever seen tax charged on shipping.
