SpeechPathology.com has been an affordable and convenient way for me to keep current and to keep my certification and licensure requirements up to date, as well. I log in wherever I am, whenever I am able. I typically enjoy the lectures, find the presenters interesting, and come away with a positive feeling about the experience. I intend to continue with SpeechPathology.com, even though I am not practicing actively. It is fun to keep up on the field!

Using SpeechPathology.com for information and CEUs has been absolutely wonderful! Presenters have been cutting-edge. I have learned so much, and whenever a new case comes up that I need quick, accurate information that is well presented, I know I can rely on SpeechPathology as the resource to provide me with the knowledge I’m seeking.

I love SpeechPathology.com! It is one of my favorite ways to learn about SLP topics. I have noticed that there is quite a bit of variety in the quality of the sessions I partake in. Some presenters seem less prepared or present material that is less individualized for the topic. At times the material presented could be discovered with a basic google search or by taking the classes I have already taken in SLP graduate school at a basic level. This becomes frustrating because it is a waste of my valuable time. I need to maximize the time I make to educate myself. I have also noted that some presenters are just not very capable or talented in the area of presenting to real professionals. This is normal because we all have strengths and weaknesses. Perhaps SpeechPathology could spend more time vetting presenters. SpeechPathology staff could also watch sessions and ask themselves if they would truly appreciate the session if they were a busy SLP making time to improve so that a particular presenter that is not a good fit would not be presenting again on the site. When presenters provide an outline of the material they will be covering to SpeechPathology.com in advance maybe SpeechPathology.com could include/ask/emphasis "What makes this material unique/individualized/specific/helpful/relatable to the busy SLP professionals seeking information from you?". Perhaps this simple question or requirement presented to presenters could encourage presenters to take the additional cognitive steps to ask themselves this beforehand. I am very happy with all that SpeechPathology is doing and just came up with a few suggestions. I also want to note that there was one instance where the questions following a presentation were not appropriate to the presentation and were very difficult to figure out/find after watching the presentation several times (quite a waste of valuable time!). I hope that someone at SpeechPathology does try to answer all questions themselves after watching a presentation to prevent such frustrations.

Excellent topics and presenters. I appreciate that SpeechPathology.com asks its subscribers for feedback, and takes it to heart. I enjoy the interaction of a live webinar, but have also learned a great deal taking courses that are archived. I consider SpeechPathology.com to be an essential part of my practice!

In comparison with other on-line seminar or CEU providers, SpeechPathology.com not only gives a far greater selection of topics, but both scope and depth of information in each topic is excellent. 5 stars would be given if the "live webinars" were available in 2 time periods such as morning and afternoon to accommodate the restrictions of school based SLPs' schedules.

Coursework is varied; you can go at your own pace; credits are submitted to ASHA; very convenient

I appreciate the wide variety of courses to choose from, the many format options (video, audio, text, etc.), and of course the convenience of taking courses when it works with my schedule. Every year there are new course offerings in my areas of interest. Thank you!

I have been using SP.com for the past few years and have been overall satisfied with the variety of courses. The content is mostly in the introductory to intermediate level of knowledge. I wish there were more advanced courses available to truly test our skills. I am forever grateful to SP.com for providing low cost CEUs to our profession. Thank you
