Courses that are offered on SpeechPathology.com for CEU credit require verification that learning outcomes are met. In our online format, we achieve this via a post-activity exam. The number of attempts is limited for several reasons.  In some cases, there are state licensure rules or rules by approving associations that specify the terms of post-activity exams. The underlying rationale is that with unlimited exam attempts, the exam would lose effectiveness in identifying learners who completed the material. We hope you understand the exam is a crucial component of the learning process, intended to solidify the intended learning outcomes.
