Webinars are typically very good. Only wish they were available longer to better allow us to work them into our schedules.

Speech Pathology.com is informative, helpful, up to date, easy, and inexpensive. It allows me to get my inservice on my own time-without having to miss work.

Good topics but difficulty navigating the site on my iPad.

I would appreciate more talks on how to do speech therapy in the classroom. Our district is working our way through ICS training and the idea is that most special ed. will occur within the regular classroom. How do we do this? We need guidance and strategies for this. Also, another big buzz word is "literacy-based speech therapy". I've tried searching for these topics, but haven't found anything on the speechpathology.com site. Maybe I'm not seeing it?

So far, I have only attended/watched one course - Assessment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. It was excellent! The presenter was very knowledgeable and the handouts were terrific/useful! As a veteran SLP this included new learning for me, which can sometimes be harder to find.

As a semi-retired SLP, I find Speechpathology.com a good buy for my continuing education needs. For a fee smaller than a single in-person of class, I can explore a wide variety of issues AND obtain needed professional development to renew both national and state credentials.
