No words can describe how much I despise this app and Mr Dixon. When my math's teacher Mrs Retkotceary (stupid name I know) told us that we were having to do sparx maths at the start of Year 7 I honestly went home and cried. The amount of mental breakdowns I have had while completing my homework is unmatched to any other homework site I have ever had the joy of using. The bookwork checks are the most soul sucking things I have ever laid my eyes upon, I would get an easy question and not write any of it down because I can't be bothered. Not even 5 minutes later I would bombarded with bookwork checks that bring me to the brink of rocking in a corner like a lunatic. The amount of times I have come close to FLINT AND STEELing my school down cannot be put into coherent words. I don't even think I'm writing a review anymore, no I am pleading to the Government. PLEASE ban this from all UK public schools so we can start to rebuild our already very little sanity brick by brick. I will not die until I see Mark Dixon publicly executed for his crimes against modern day society. I hope this was helpful and please send help!!

I believe that while sparx science is not a very good website (mostly due to poor AI marking and questions that stretch you too far), I will be rating this higher than sparx maths due to two simple facts: no bookwork checks and assistance given to you after you fail twice. This is better than sparx maths as it only offers 3 swaps per homework which is not nearly enough if you are getting 5+ tasks and are not the brightest in the school. I believe that sparx maths is flawed in that way but i digress. My main point is that sparx science should include an AI capable of marking more widely as i have made countless ‘mistakes’ in my homework that are clearly unfairly marked. As well as this, there should be informative videos on the tasks you are about to do which are easily accessible. With these additions, though challenging to follow through, are doable and can be a great addition to your platform. Also please re-add the trustpilot for sparx maths and sparx reader so that the 1 star reviews don’t spill over to here. If anyone believes i have misjudged this site please let me know.

I’m suing Mark Dixon for giving me mental issues and and PTSD every time I here sparx or something similar

AVOID! AVOID! Very unresponsive and laggy at times. Do not recommend! I have to refresh the page a lot of times just to get it working. Sometimes it’s very stressful when I’m trying to put an answer in and it’s unresponsive. I wouldn’t set anything to private for your password as I don’t really trust this website. And I don’t believe it’s the system that I’m running on that’s making it unresponsive. Fix this in a future update.

Whenever I have to use this thing it makes me crash out…like sometimes the question don’t even make sense and I’m like WHAT THE SIGMA.Honestly this thing is so ahh that whenever I see this thing for homework I wana LAVA chicken my family. Useless app and it rhymes with grug

Definitely the worst maths software for schools out there. I honestly thought our school was very good at picking different softwares for homework or other tasks in general but this choice to unleash sparx on us honestly destroyed that opinion like a nuclear bomb. I wouldn’t be surprised if sparx made me depressed in the future considering my ‘concerning number of crashouts’ when doing my homework. I don’t know if I have anger issues or something, but they didn’t seem to exist before I had to do sparx. Doing sparx feels like I’m being tortured, medieval style. It is literally the equivalent of being hung, drawn and quartered all at the same time. I think those peasants who stole bread in the 1400s need to stop complaining because they don’t know the evil torture I have been put through by this. Hell is gonna be a vacation compared to this. I would rather give birth to a fully grown horse than do sparx. Could you imagine having to push out a 1500 pound beast out of you body?- Sparx is worse. Anyway, the thing I found especially suprising about our school using sparx is the reviews. Did they even read them? I am yet to find a review above 2 stars. Literally nobody likes sparx we need to eliminate it from the universe. I hope this review helped!
