I am given this utterly rage-entising infinitly boring rubbish as homework every week, it is painfully demanding as it forces me to spend at least half an hour of often crap books that I can't even get to choose, you are selected like 4 books and forced to choose one, so not only is it forced, flow-less reading on a screen, it's a method of unforgiving torture and unkind evil, so much so I would rather read an actual book. Additionally, as a piece of demanding homework students are often caught in a short time period due to having a life and have to waste some sleep just to barely achieve the unreasonable goal. I hate this site. Its dumb and nothing good comes out of it.

It tells you to select your preferred genres and then it go3s completley against your choices? And then you spend 5 minuets on an extract and it only gives you 5 SRP? It takes me ATLEAST 3 hours to do my homework when it’s only supposed to take 30 minuets, at this point I’ve completley given up and I’ve decided to get the one hour lunchtime detention every week instead of wasting 3 hours at home on something that makes me have a breakdown and anxiety attacks,

It made me cry and it is soooooo boring

Takes 3 hours and I have to literally starve myself just to complete it. Such a waste of time too.. I learn nothing from it and just gives me mental problems.

Sparx reader is honestly the worst thing I've ever had to do for homework. It's overwhelmed me and made me have multiple breakdowns. The book selection is horrible and the amount of SRP you get for a section is stupid. When you fail the questions a few times, and finally get past the section, you only get like 1 SRP. It gets boring and I dread doing it every week. I wish it would get shut down. It's put me off reading and made me worse at reading instead of better.

They make you read too much, once I found out about sparx reader on TOP OF sparx maths I didn't know what to do. I just wanted to break all of my stuff. It might just be the worst platform I have ever used. It doesn't even help you learn. All it does is make you read what's the point I can already read.

Doesn't actually help you to read and instead is just a very frustrating experience.

It is the worst platform I have ever used and the inconsistency between books is horrible. The amount of forced learning is immeasurable it really is a bad platform
