SparxreaderReviews of sparxreader.com

i hate this site a lot, it takes the fun out of reading limited book choices and when i pick preferences so i can get stuff like Alex rider or virtual Kombat books it gives me the complete opposite even worse you spend twenty minutes scanning for a phrase that probably isn't in there at all and end up getting a measly 6 srp for my 400 srp homework pmo i spent 4 hrs for 300 srp like what?????

me when coming hoe from school😄"sparks reader" homework due in one hour"

Worst app ever. First of all, you cannot choose a good book. When you do find it good, it just pauses you and asks you stupid questions, and you have to get 3/4. What's worse is that the questions are somewhat unrelated to the book. I would rather sit in detention at school just because it doesn't stress me out that much. Teachers, I hope you takedown this website. #bringbacknormalbooks

I would give zero stars if I could. It doesn't let you choose the book you want and it usually gives you a selection of books that you don't even like. It also slaps you with obscure ai questions the second you actually get into the book. If you get any less than three out of four questions correct you have to read the whole thing again and if you get it right it will still give you less points. I have seen my friends cry over getting the same passage wrong multiple times and then when they finally get it right it only counts as about one twentieth of their homework. It will also slap you with the biggest piece of text if you are one point short of you 300 point target. 100% would recommend schools just let us read the actual book like they have done for so many years.

Sparx Reader is just a disappointment in the education system, my school started using all sparx platforms for homework last year, Sparx Maths is good, as well as Sparx Science, but Sparx reader is just dreadful. It removes the flow and fun of reading completely, making kids dread doing their homework.

sucks more than jack massey welsh's origional geoguesser skills

So bad 👎👎👎👎👎

This app is utterly hideous, disgusting torture for children. it successfully increases the amount of time students spend 'looking at words', while completely turning them off from reading. It is a Compliance Tool disguised as a Pedagogical Tool. My son hates reading now thanks to this nonsense app being introduced at his school. Avoid at all costs.
