Our tour was very organized and the drivers and guides were all on time. We had such an amazing time in Santiago and the Patagonia. Perfect holiday!! Highly recommend this company!!

We knew nothing of what we wanted to do for our Ecuador trip. We asked Jon Hillstead at SouthAmerica Travel to complete our plans and he did a perfect job. All our transportation was on time. Our guides were excellent. Accommodations centrally located and food at the best locations. Our itinerary was detailed, Le Selva Amazon eco-lodge, Devil Nose train, Banos waterfall, Puerto Lopez fishing village and more, but easy to understand. This is the third time we have asked SouthAmerica Travel to arrange a trip for us, including Columbia, Chile and Easter Island. It will not be the last time. They are professional and thorough, and worth the price even it is higher than their competitors.

Can't say enough good things about the entire experience, beginning to end. Jon did a great job putting our trip together. I would definitely use this agency again and have recommended it to others. The travel guides and hotel personnel took care of us as though we were the only ones that counted. Thank you for the professionalism and having our backs when it was needed.

The planning and execution of our trip to Peru by SouthAmerica.travel was flawless. Based on initial discussions with them on what we would like to do and experience in the country, they prepared a detailed daily Travel Plan / Voucher with accompanying Tour Code providing highlights of daily activities. Transport from place to place during our 14 day trip including plane, bus, train, and a lot of Private Vehicle Tours was well managed. Private drivers were excellent and Tour Guides were all fully knowledgable of daily sites and activities planned. Tour guides were all a pleasure to spend time with and ensured that days were full and most value was received for time spent during the duration of our visit. It became clear very early on in our vacation that we were in good hands and need not worry about any arrangements. This led to a stress free and fully enjoyable vacation. The ground service SouthAmerica,travel arranged was excellent. We had 6 people in our group to Peru and Chile. Every local guide was always on time at airport, train station or bus station to pick up, and most of them were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable as well as helpful. We followed SouthAmerica,trave's suggestion to leave tips for every guide and driver.

Buenos Dias! My name is Ron, and I have a fun story to tell. I just returned home from a perfectly planned trip, through five countries in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, and Brasil). The name of the company that I booked the trip through is SouthAmerica.travel. I have traveled extensively, but have never had such excellent service from a travel agency! If you are planning a trip to anywhere in South America, SouthAmerica.travel is the company you should definitely book it through! I first contacted this company in early April 2018. My travel window was narrow, and my hopes were high. I wanted to see as many countries as I could, as quickly as possible. I had to be back home by early May, so my timeline was very tight. Immediately (within one hour of contacting this company), I received a call (early on a Sunday morning) from a very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable travel specialist. Her name is Millie Davies. Millie has been awesome to work with! After chatting for maybe 45 minutes, we had come up with a great travel plan - to all the destinations I wanted to visit. Within 48 hours, Millie had confirmed a complete itinerary for me: air travel, hotels, and tour packages. The general itinerary started from a suggested list of destinations from this company's website, but was completely customized to fit my individual needs. I explained to Millie that I am a budget-conscious traveler, who could probably live with 3-star hotels. But then I added that I would love to upgrade if the price was right. Instead of a cookie cutter approach (all 3-star hotels, all 5-star hotels, etc), Millie arranged for a custom mixture of hotel classes. The outcome was perfect! I was not overcharged, yet I was treated very well at every stop along the way. I had absolutely NO problems for the entire trip. Along every step of the way, all of the details were taken care of by this top-notch company. The tours were amazing. I was not put into giant, impersonal tour groups (as many companies do). Instead, I had private tours that averaged only 2 to 4 persons per tour. The guides were all very friendly and polite. What impressed me more than anything else was how each guide would walk me into the airport, as I left for a new city or country. I was expected to be dropped at the curb, and left to fend for myself. Not with this company. Each time, the guide would direct me to the airline counter, stand in line with me to get my luggage checked and boarding pass issued, then walk with me to the security checkpoint. (If I were traveling in my home country (the U.S.), such service would not be needed. But I found it to be very helpful, when traveling through countries were there is a language barrier.) Well done, Millie! Bravo, SouthAmerica.travel! You have demonstrated exactly what it takes to be a 5-star company (at 3-star prices). Thank you for making this my best trip ever! An opportunity to provide excellent feedback for Izabela Zielinska. I first saw SouthAmerica.travel via internet search. The initial and normal reaction of a first time client is to be very, very cautious because of widespread internet fraud. Izabela happened to be the assigned travel agent for us and my engagement with her changed my perception with the company as a new client. It pays to hire a very experienced, insightful, well-knowledgeable, highly formulated multitasker coupled with excellent organising skills, honest and super patient travel consultant like Izabela. She is well-organised, very clear in communicating and providing good travel options with valid pros and cons thus in return got a clear picture of what exactly our trip is going to be. She explained every single detail of the package with so much ease, very reliable, punctual in providing information and answered all my queries with tremendous patience and clarity. The most striking attribute of Izabela is her authenticity by providing the best advice. Moreover, she has not displayed a behaviour of being manipulative, aggressive, pushy and taking advantage money-wise. I have experienced her being insightful as not just selling travel rather than creating a package focusing on our needs, desires and physical constraints. I honestly sensed her sincerity and concern in making our trip filled with fun and excitement that we can cherish for a lifetime. After each of my engagement with her, I had no apprehensions related to our trip. As a result, instead of me and my husband travelling I have promoted this tour to my siblings and seven of us will go to Patagonia. Keep it up, Izabela and thank you for the wonderful experience.
