Don't waste time on your playlists
I've been using Sound Stripe for a few years. The music for my type of projects is great. However, there's been a few times that I noticed my playlists were getting smaller... I would spend hours finding music for different types of projects only to come on a couple months later to see that the songs were now missing. I asked customer support if they were aware of this and they couldn't tell me straight up that they do "archive" songs so they disappear. Instead, they asked me a couple times to provide them songs so they could research this... First off, that could take several hours on my end because I do a few thousand video edits a year and subscribe to a few copyright free libraries. Secondly, its a simple yes or no answer now that I know the answer. I went back and forth with the support for about 10 minutes. Every video editor knows how many hours it can take to find good music and to find out they are "archiving" songs over time without letting us know is really annoying. The fact they wasted my time to get a response is also annoying. They said they'd pass the conversation to management, but I doubt it.

There isn't enough variety
There isn't enough variety. There is very little in the realm of country, rock, and blues.

We appreciate this feedback, and even more so how specific you're being with the genres you're looking for! It's very helpful. We are hard at work expanding our library. The genres you've named are a few that are near the top of the list. One of the biggest reasons we have decided to take on outside investment in our company was to invest heavily in our content. Would be great if the company has an…
Would be great if the company has an app to be able to play and get used to the music while on the go. Then tag a song you like. Since there is no easy way to start listening to the music without draining all your data, I tried just downloading the songs for this purpose to ACTUALLy listen to them, but then got told by the company it was against its policies to let you download the songs just to listen. It has to be connected to a project. So the only practical way to listen to the music is be at a computer and wasting a boatload of time just staring at the screen. So annoying. With Artlist I've downloaded a ton of the songs and created my own playlists this way so now I know how to categorize a lot of their music. Becauze they let you download the song to actually listen to it on the go. Essentially the user has to go with the playlist of what sound stripe comes up with which is useful maybe 20% of the time. One solution could be top 100 songs used for weddings, or something like that and it's actually a true feed based on the category of the user. Would not be that hard as they do have this info on hand to make that query. Very basic query for a programmer. And then upload that as a curated playlist.

Overall a very good and cheap service
Overall a very good and cheap service. Still find quite a bit of it sounds very similar. But I always eventually find what I need, though sometimes the search takes a while, but it always has for me in any of these types of applications

The music variety is poor
The music variety is poor. I struggle to find what I'm looking for. Additionally the music player takes too long to load each song compared to other sites such as musicbed.com

Actually, you've pointed out two areas that are top priorities for us right now, and one of the biggest reasons we decided as a company to raise some investment capital this year instead of continuing to bootstrap our business.
