The Sonic does a pretty good job of cleaning with just water. However, the tablets may be required for cleaning more robust stains on your mouth appliance.

I'm really happy with this product. I should have got the cleaning tablets as well, but even without them, after a couple of weeks my retainer looks and feels remarkably more fresh and clean. Thank you!

This really cleaned my retainers so much better than I could with a brush. I also took advantage of the extra warranty for 3 years for 19AUD for peace of mind. So far, so good.

I recommended this product to my dentist. They have sonic cleaners in the office, but I mentioned that I had just got one for home. Neither my dentist or orthodontist knew to recommend these for personal use. So much cleaner without just using a toothbrush, as previously recommended. My health thanks you.

I really like the flosser and the dental pod. Although the pod doesn't take the stain away from my mouthguard like I was hoping, it definitely does feel a lot cleaner after I use it and I am satisfied with ,my decision to invest. My only criticism would be that is that the pod is not battery operated or chargable. I do not have an outlet in my bathroom and it's quite awkward to have to bring it back and forth to a room with an outlet as I leave it in my bathroom when it's not plugged in. I would probably use it more often if it was rechargable and perhaps it could be an option in the future.

It cleans my aligners from any residue of the night but hasn’t made them look brand new again just yet. It’s quite small so I can only fit my aligners. Does the job. Glad I’ve purchased it.
