I’m a veteran and have tried to start w- a new therapist here, 3 times. The first 2 with no reason. I’m still waiting to see if my third attempt cancels on me as well. Whatever connection Sondermind has with the VA, it don’t work! I’m very disappointed and will not recommend this to others.

I told your provider that the medications seem to be making my negative thought patterns worse, she told me, there's no way that could have been happening in the amount of time.I've been taking it and insisted on raising the dosage up I canceled that appointment and I canceled my account Today I get a text message saying that. The appointment was confirmed that I'd already canceled. Then, I called customer service, and then they won't argue about it.Telling me I'd never canceled anything I have emailed your company at least six times in two weeks.Trying and encouraging you to call me and discuss with me.The issues I had with the provider that argued with me about my mental health.Telling me that I was not having the problems I was having and must not be the medication, which is the only new issue in my life was that medication Then, now I see that you're trying to fraudulently, build my insurance for an account that's been canceled. And for an appointment, that's already been canceled

So with SONDERMIND I selected a doctor Huff. I was already taking medications that weren't working. Which prompted me to change doctors again, so she decuided to do a gene test. She came back so thrilled because the medications I'm taking are perfectly suited for my genology. My simple response was, they're not working well. We need to increase the dose so. Since we increased my dose, All I've been telling her, is I don't feel good. I'm not happy. I'm not enjoying life. I wake up. I wish I was dead. then because I can't remember stuff like I used to I missed an appointment that charged me $75. My next appointment I hurried home in pouring, rain flooded streets, so I wouldn't be late and get charged seventy five dollars again when I opened up the website I saw I had a message. I opened the message and found out my appointment was canceled 6 hours earlier because she had an emergency I called complain. I asked the lady on the phone. How many times a day am I expected to check your website? No answer. I had a follow-up appointment with the same doctor and she apologized since she had an emergency.I ask her, how many times a day am I supposed to check the website? Even the doctor didn't have an answer I kept telling her the emergency wasn't my problem. The problem is, the way you notified me and I think y'all owe me $50 for not notifying me through text or phone that went over like a lead balloon. Also I had to change my insurance beginning. 2026 so 3 days before my appointment. I gave them my new insurance information. My next bill, my copay is supposed to be $45. My next bill was $143. I found out the reason is they entered my insurance card information wrong. Rather than call me to correct it, they decided to view me as a self pay patient after having been a patient for almost a year. Now I am self paid because my insurance declined the copay I called and told him, I said, you don't have permission to charge my car $143. You don't know if I'm on a fixed income. You don't know if I can afford the extra $100. That you took out of my account. They tell it will take 10 to 15 days to get you a refund. The whole visit and no charge it and refund my money. The doctor told me to update my ins.info. not customervno service. Then, they told me that after I submitted my insurance again that they had decided to resubmit my claim. And that it would take 30 to 45 days for insurance to approve it. I told the Dr. Huff, you didn't even bother to apologize for me ending up in this position and she replied, Mr. Vaughn. I don't owe you an apology. So I sent another message back and said you can't even apologize and say that you're sorry that I'm struggling. And that I'm not feeling well that I'm having a hard time then. She replied, I apologize Mr. Vaughn, so I copied her previous Mr. Vaughn. I don't owe you an apology. Sent it back to her and told her to leave me alone as it stands now, my appointment was February 26th I believe, and I still haven't seen my money and I probably never will all this company. And I call him a company, not a practice, not a doctor's office. All they care about is their money. I truly believe there's something to be said about not finding a recovery for a patient, because if a patient recovers you've lost income, the best way to keep making money is make sure they stay just sick enough to keep showing up. And not sick enough to leave and find another doctor I told my doctor it's just like a terminal ill patient. All you're doing is managing my illness. You're not leading me to recovery.I'm not getting better.Just manage my illness until I die The worst part is. They'll reply to this link because it's an easier softer way, which is what SondraMine chooses is the easier softer way. I was an insured patient for a year. All I did was change my insurance. They're not sharp enough to figure out there might be a problem with the information and not with me, not having insurance. No, we'll just bill him much easier.I would stay as far away from these people as I could. OHH, I FORGOT SHE told me she was going to refer me to another physician that was probably around march. The first

Ineffective and nonexistent communication with billing questions via call or email. It’s as if this company doesn’t exist to communicate with a client / patient. It’s been so stressful in attempting to communicate with them. Sondermind doesn’t return my voicemails , there is no representative who answers calls, and I haven’t received a response to any of my emails. The irony is, they provide mental health care. I’ve been so stressed over the concern they could send me to collections and I don’t want my credit report hurt. I finally had to self pay because my balance is past due. Yet, they aren’t billing my insurance provider. This is unethical practice and I don’t feel Sondermind has concern for patients and their wellbeing. I recommend connecting with anyone else other than Sondermind, especially if there is a more affordable option for mental health services.

This is the worst mental health app on the market. You will not receive help while using this app. Providers don’t answer & they do not have customer service whatsoever so if you’re having an issue just accept that you’re not going to get help ever. This app is designed by the most incompetent human beings to ever walk this planet. if you’re struggling with mental health issues, you’re better off finding resources on your own, because there is nothing Sondermind can do for you.

I had one appointment with SonderMind in December 2025. I completed all paperwork prior to my appointment and they billed my personal credit card on file instead of insurance. I emailed and called, but was unable to get this resolved so I submitted a claim to my insurance company. SonderMind also billed my insurance and so my claim was rejected since they already paid SonderMind. I requested a refund, but instead they gave me an account credit. I again requested a refund and that only refunded $18 of the $150 they double billed and remove the account credit. Now it is March 2026 and I received an email from Sonder saying that i haven’t paid. This has been the most stressful company to work with. I wish I had never tried therapy.
