Sondermind sends me referrals and the patients are not aware that they were matched with me or that their information was sent to me. Therefore, they are not ready to schedule an appointment and seem surprised that I called/texted them. 2 weeks ago I received 13 referrals and less than 7 of them scheduled with me or even responded to my communication. This week I received 2 referrals and 1 of them scheduled. It's not a system that works well for me as a clinician if I am relying on S'mind to send me referrals. I do have my own LLC and I use the S'mind platform to see patients and submit claims. I like that there is an AI transcriber that does my notes for me and I get paid in less than 48 hours. Those are the Pro's of this site.

I like that I can experience speaking with someone virtually. I do not like that the platform doesn’t give us the opportunity to connect due to whatever issues. I have missed out on several scheduled sessions due to my therapist stating she had issues connecting or logging into the platform.

I like my therapist, but haven't really seen a change in how I am feeling yet. We have had a lot of issues with the portal freezing, and then I have to refresh my browser. I've tried everything to fix this- including replacing the cable in my house. I've tried different browsers, used my phone (instead of my computer), and tried cellular instead of wifi. I have over 800 mps at my house, so not sure what else I can do. The portal system has been the biggest issue with Sondermind.

Problems with patients being able to log into portal for telehealth sessions required using my confidential back up Zoom portal to complete two sessions held on 7/2/24.

Therapist is fantastic. However the company to get resolution to customer service and billing errors is terrible. No phone number to call , dependant on sending message thru their portal but nobody gets back to you 😡 they billed in error, charged me incorrectly but can't even discuss with anyone to get my money back

I was only rec’d male providers even though I was looking for a female provider. Want to be able to delete the providers you rec’d initially off of my profile and one of them wasn’t responsive to my message. Still don’t know how much it will cost even though I signed up about a month ago and have had 3 sessions. I know it only takes a few minutes to get insurance verified and cost per session identified. Rebecca is great but I found her myself.

Bill shock! This service is basically two things: browser video chat, and a payment processor. Video chat worked alright for my uses, but...it's just browser video chat, not rocket science. I see lots of content on the site about how much therapy will cost... $40-60 with insurance? My provider (a therapist, not a psychiatrist) was charging $250/hr, and many others are going to be in the same 150-200/hr range. I know for a fact that sondermind is charging these people ~20% in fees, and they're just going to pass that on. This is just the further corporatization of healthcare and yet another middleman who wants to make the thing more expensive for the user. Find someone who will do a zoom call with you, and pay out of pocket if need be - it'll still be cheaper.
