Overpriced can't get mental health help this company is a joke only cares about money. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and when I told a therapist she was crappy and didn't offer any alternatives. Disgusting

I contacted a therapist via Psychology Today Finder and of course that site is very helpful. When I reached a therapist via phone, she referred me to Sondermind who she said does her billing. However, to connect & establish services via Sondermind was a nightmare. The sites prompts were not responding efficiently: the computerized voice prompts did not respond, and getting through to customer service resulted in a computerized response to schedule a call back -- which I did, and which they did not, call back. I tried again, same story. When I finally got through, third time, again, the "too busy' to answer, but the prompt to leave a request actually worked. This time their computer called me back, prompted a number 1 for 'yes' disconnected me before I could talk with a liver person, and then texted me a survey. *WHY would I trust these people or computer in this case, to get their billing in order properly if they cannot even begin to process a new client ? Would I even have a warm body to discuss any problem that arise? I have had years experience as a case manager so a computer based operation is not a 'new idea' for me but certainly this one is a very poor example. This process appears to be another computer loop that ultimately frustrates clients from resolving issues. Important: NO transparency on its site: WHO is Sondermind, how are they funded or invested, or if they have a parent company.? Based on my experience with this kind of operation, I declined to 'sign-up" nor would I recommend to any client that I may have.

Terrible service multiple billing issues that are covered through insurance but aren’t reimbursed and no direct number to Actually reach anyone you recently spoke with about your issues. You have to act as a third party with this company And your insurance to get anything accomplished and you have to make sure someone followed up on your refunds…. Multiple times. I would never use this service ever again. It was literally the worst experience.

They will rip you off. I canceled my appointment several days in advance. I sent emails and texted the therapist. They charged me an $85 cancellation fee. I have made numerous calls all just a complete waste of time. Customer service was worthless. Horrible, Horrible company. Don’t waste your time.

Don’t use them, in fact run! They steal money! I got extremely sick and had to cancel appointment a few hours before, this was my first time. When I reached out to Therapist (Shola) to cancel she didn’t mention a fee, in fact, when I told her a few days later I was charged $120 cancellation fee. She seemed genuinely surprised and said would assist with my refund request if needed. However when customer service contacted her about my refund, she rejected the approval. It was very deceitful and malicious. I never got a refund. What made it worse is my insurance woulda covered most of session and billed between $40 - $60. They charge more for cancelling. I wish would have saw these reviews and I hope to save someone from trusting this horrible company.

If I could rate sondermind lower than one star I would. I went to this company for therapy several months ago and, after being discharged, I am probably going to need therapy again because of the garbage I am going through with them. To make a long story short sondermind took $500.00 from my bank account in a lump sum payment. I did not consent to it nor was there authorized. One day I wake up with 600.00 dollars and the next hour my account is over drafted. I've been fighting this for the past two days. I had to file a claim with my bank in addition to updating my payment information. Not to mention the circles I have had to run in dealing with their representatives. I hate sondermind so much and I regret using them for my therapy. I implore you to not use this company's services. They are not about your mental well being. They want money, period.
