DO NOT SIGN UP with SonderMind!!! Horrible services. Therapist didn’t show up to my 1st session. Don’t waste your time and money. Regret signing up with SonderMind. Their Customer service has you on the phone for a LONG TIME and do not answer the phone. ZERO STAR REVIEW.

This is a horrible platform. I was charged for services as out of network, 6 months after the fact, after being told that I was in network. After I disputed the transaction, I was then double charged for all sessions at a reduced rate. Customer service is horrible. I ask to escalate and they do nothing. Tried to work with Hailey L, Lead Wellness Coordinator, who was unhelpful

OMG!!! I was so lax in my search for a therapist. Once again, I was impulsive to a fault....again! I felt that I was at a good place for my mental health. I signed up and chose a therapist. SM told me that the therapist I chose, was not in network. Okay. I requested a therapist that was in my Optima Medicare plan. I knew I needed a social worker. Christy was and I chose to begin therapy with her. Things after only 2 sessions were progressing and feeling good. Then the BOMB DROPPED! I received an email that stated that a payment of 247.00 was due for my first 2 sessions. I thought there had to be a mistake. They told me with my in network therapist that my responsibility would be 15.00 copay. Okay. So I called the number, listened to the cockamamie messages, and chose the one to be called back and not lose my place in line. That was Tuesday. Today is Thursday. Still no call back. I called again that day, on hold for 45mins. only to be told, too bad. We'll set up a payment plan! Surprise, surprise! That's their way of saying, we got you, pay up. From the looks of the reviews, I am so not alone. Can't a power that be look at their policies and procedures and see a trend!!?? So yesterday I called and waited on the line for over an hour. When I finally got to talk to a human being, after listening to the messages that said that they accepted Medicare, I was told that I am responsible for the money owed and that they would set up a payment plan. I stated that I would not have ever agreed to therapy, knowing that I would be charged $120 for each session. I requested a manager or supervisor. She informed me that she was the only person there. Really!!! My therapist has been trying to help. She was very good with me for 2 sessions. And now it looks like it's all coming to end and I'm having to go through all of this. Because I don't have the money. I'm retired on disability. I came to this website for help. I got it for 10 days and that was it. And now it's all blown up and negative and terrible. Before ever starting, see if they'll give you anything in writing before you agree. Because that seems to be the only way to hold them accountable for what I know they told me. And unfortunately I don't have anything saved but hopefully I learned a lesson to not deal with companies like this.

You need more representatives handling your calls. Do you think it's healthy for someone seeking mental health advice, to sit on hold for over an hour? All you seem to care about is getting paid, that's the only time I heard from the "care" team. After they botched my referral from the Veterans Affairs. I am working with the VA to ensure they don't refer any of my brothers and sisters to this place, what a waste.

Sondermind doesn't tell you that Windows 10 edge doesn't work on their website for sessions. 2 calls to Sondermind for help was never answered. Found out later it only works on Firefox and Chrome. Missed my appointment and was still charged $85 and no refund was issued or call back from the Sondermind to my therapist . Avoid at all cost.

My aunt died and my grandson was born at 31 weeks. I didnt get notice that these unforseen circumstances came up. Therapy was the last thing on my mind, honestly. I was charged $85.00 which has caused a tremendous problem in my bank account. It caused me undo stress while I was in San Antonio with my grandson being in grave condition. Emergencies come up and to be taken advantage of with this being a mental health professional site. There were numerous times that my insurance company was billed for an hour but our sessions were cut off at 40 min. I record all of my sessions. There were also times that therapist had someone present during our calls which is not ok. Thanks for being so understanding. My thoughts on therapy arent very high right now. Im struggling financially and then this adds insult to injury.

Therapist never showed up!

Therapist was great! Customer service is horrible! Was told insurance covers the sessions. Now an email saying in 3 days I'll be charged $127 for 1 apps and I've had several already! So I called. I was 10th in line but held. Then after 1 hr 50 minutes I heard I was next in line. At 2 hour mark a recorded message tells me they are now closed. 2 hours. 2 hours. 2 hours. This is after runaround about billing and charges. It should be black and white. Either insurance covers or doesn't. If a copay, fine! Tell me! Let me decide if I can afford it. I'm in the middle of some bad circumstances, was making progress with my sweet Therapist, but nope. Can't deal with this shoddy company. I have screenshots to prove how long I was holding.
