The providers that you're matched with can randomly schedule appointments with you without your approval. I had an appointment scheduled for me that is supposed to happen in 4 hours. But they have a 24 hr cancelation policy so I can't even cancel this appointment I didn't make, and there are fees (I won't be paying) that result from me not showing up. You also have NO way of closing your account, so they can just keep scheduling appointments with you that you don't want. People dealing with mental health issues really don't need to be dealing with scam artists. They're ripping off sick people and it's disgusting.

After spending nearly a thousand dollars building a connection and trust with a therapist, I had showed up 10 minutes late to a session. Therapist was not there. I called them, messaged them, no response. I asked to re-schedule for the last 50 minutes I had, but was told I would have to pay full price. Though I showed up late, I had hoped that either I would be able to get the last 50 minutes of my session, OR re-schedule without paying for another entire hour. Nope. Reached out to support about this issue, after crushed in realizing how greedy my therapist is. The sondermind sided with the therapist. I've now wasted nearly a thousand dollars, been scammed out of 100$, and will never be using this website again. Horrible horrible horrible customer service if you're looking for decent people that care about you. You could find better customer service at a McDonalds, truly.

This is a Mickey Mouse operation. Their "therapists" are contractors and have no accountability. They can no show you, cancel last minute and Sondermind wont do anything because they are contractors. I was no showed twice and when I called the customer service just gave me robotic lip service and suggested another person. I did that and the guy canceled. Lol. Do yourself a favor and find a real therapist

They don’t accept Medicaid.

My therapist is the best I’ve ever had but Sondermind is only concerned about money. I owed them 320.00 for my deductible, for two sessions. I paid 160.00, which was all I could afford and they refused to allow my therapist to do a session with me until I was paid in full. The kicker is the balance just came due a few days before the session. I’ve been a patient with Sondermind since 2020 and have always paid my bills on time so why would my healthcare be disrupted for non payment of one session until the following month when I could send the remaining balance?!?! Horrible don’t use them!

Their finance team and customer service is horrible!! My therapist is the best I ever had. Even I have horrible experiences with SonderMind! Not able to reply to your message, but that will be great if I can finally hear from you after trying to reach you since December. I can provide with case number in email!

Being Charged Incorrectly I keep contacting support for them to use my EAP - but they just keep charging my credit card. Oh no big deal, just call support right? 40 minutes and no help. How about email? 2 months and no response for the first issue with several followups. "Give us 30 days to look into it" for the next one. And yet - I keep getting charged when I shouldn't. Garbage service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Kaiser covers video therapy 100% and out of nowhere I get bills for two sessions from Sondermind. They said they got submitted wrong and theyd re submit. When I asked a few days later if they did, they said that Kaiser is wrong and they wont resubmit them. Never have problems with Kaiser- nothing but Sondermind problems. On top of this, the therapist mocked me and then was aggressive with me. Not helping my mental health at all- I am worse now from Sondermind! Today I spent 45 min waiting for a billing agent so I hung up. Kaiser told me that you had completely billed wrong- you were supposed to bill through Carelon and did not. Either way- I owe you nothing! Also- the bill you show and invoice are useless since it does not show the date of service only when it is due. You really need help with your billing practices.
