Call their phone number? You have to go to our website. Go to their website? A confirmation that you asked for help, but literally nothing else. They basically refuse to help with any sort of billing issues whatsoever. Do not under any circumstances use this service unless you have tons of money to throw away. Edit: I don't seem to be able to reply to replies so I'd like to add a little clarification, I've been waiting literally twice the amount of time given for their estimated response time. Also I have no problem with my care providers whatsoever, this ire is entirely aimed at Sondermind itself.

Billing issues. Won’t answer their contact us. Comments off on everything. They’re really screwing over my loved one and genuinely seem like a scam. Please don’t go here. They’re terrible for your mental health. Like the opposite of what a therapy company should be.

This would've been my 4th session. Although therapist assigned to me was nice, she was always a few minutes late and seemed a little off beat, but decided to try one more time to decide if I should stay with her. Today I waited almost 20 minutes. I sent her 2 text msgs and also left a phone message. I finally ended my session and have requested that my account be closed. I should've paid more attention to the reviews.

Update: after posting this review. I was given my refund and I think my account is closed. The "therapist" I was assigned did not take into consideration the date/times that I was available and randomly scheduled me an appointment. I told her that I was not available at that time and to change my appointment. They charged me anyway. They would not close my account without paying them. Now they will not let me speak to anyone about my refund. You have to dig around the internet for a phone number. I went to this company looking for grief counseling and all they have given me is grief.

The therapists I dealt with were ok. No complaints against them other than they weren't the right fit for me. The admin/office staff on the other hand are completely useless. At one point they were mediocre at best. But now they've gone completely down the drain. After every session, I would have to call in and have them correct my bill to where EAP covers it and I don't have to pay out of pocket. They would always tell me to make sure the therapist knows to bill to EAP and I believe them when they say they are. I believe this issue squarely lies on the billing department as they keep processing it thru my insurance and I would end up with an out of pocket cost when I shouldn't have one. All prior instances were resolved. However this time around, the issue for some reason isn't getting resolved. Apparently, they changed their system to where NO ONE can speak with billing directly. We now have to speak with customer service and they have to put in a request instead. That is not an improvement even in the slightest. That will just create more backup and bottleneck. My issues always got resolved when I spoke to the billing department directly. But with this change, it isn't getting resolved. I called last month and they said the issue would be resolved within 10 business days. A month later, it still hasn't been. I called again this month and they put in another request and was told it'd be resolved within 10 business days. Over 10 business days later, the matter isn't resolved. I believe this is solely because their new system is not working out the way they intended it too. The only good thing they've done is they've pushed out my payment due date both times until the matter is resolved. I'll bet I'll have to call in again to get them to resolve it. Because of this, I will never use Sondermind again. I will be looking in to using other therapy services instead.

I've seen enough complaints here to warrant a class action suit. If interested call me. 9723021690 time to do something about this scam company. Sondermind is not only unprofessional but they try to intimidate you by reporting your review of their services. They say they're going to investigate your claims but they don't. They instead try to intimidate you. I'm afraid that they would go so far as to have you involuntarily committed to stop you from complaining. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

The therapist was very good. The low score is billing. I have Medicare and everything was covered with the last company I was with. Sondermind is charging me $23 co-pay for each visit. Not aware of this upfront since I was not charged with the other company. Left counseling on this sight.

If you are thinking about using Sondermind for therapy, don't do it! I've been trying to get in touch with their billing dept for weeks, but since they don't accept incoming phone calls it's been nearly impossible. I was double charged for a session and Sondermind refuses to investigate the matter or issue a refund. My insurance company paid them in full, but Sondermind charged my credit card anyway. I have tried repeatedly to help them "find" the payment from my insurance company, but now they are just ignoring my emails. ******* Seriously? What do you think I've been doing for the past 2.5 weeks? Your "support" team has been anything but helpful.
