Horrible company. First provider did not take my symptoms or experiences seriously. I chose a different provider with Sondermind and she didn't even show to the session! Never heard a word about her until an appt was scheduled same day without my consent. A month ago I wrote Sondermind about the bad experience with the providers and got zero response. I'm anticipating more problems due to cancelling the appt that was scheduled for me. Horrible company, stay away.

Jeff never showed for this session. I had no previous warning that the session was cancelled, so I can only assume he had some kind of emergency.

The 3 different "therapist" we tried to utilize were all 10 to over a half hour late to the sessions. The last one canceled and rescheduled appointments without notifying us. We turned our lives upside down to attend these sessions and were treated with complete and utter disrespect. Take my recommendation and look elsewhere for actual professionals.

The first time I went through Sondermind, several years ago, I had to battle their billing department for months after the continually double billed me for the services I received. This time it's worse! Fast forward 5 or so years later and they are a NIGHTMARE! Do they earn their money through sales??? I'm guessing so, due to my current experience. I was referred to them by my primary care doctor. I think they use Sondermind, only because there are no other options. Within a day or two of my referral, I got no less than 4 phone calls from Sondermind, to try to get me scheduled with a therapist. I was not in a rush, so I was holding off on contacting them. In the meantime, less than a week after my doctor referred me to Sondermind, I got an email from them telling me that I had an appointment with one of their therapists. How weird, I thought, since I had not even spoken to anyone there! When I called to tell them to take my appointment off their schedule, the lady who took my call(after being on hold for more than 7 minutes) apologized profusely and promised to have it removed. Two days later, I got another reminder of this appointment that I never made. I got them via email and via text.... And this all continued to go on, until I finally had to block all my text messages, calls and emails from Sondermind. DO NOT USE THEM! They will ignore you, double bill you, and they obviously have no interest in you or your mental health - only in your money!!

Dealing with SonderMind has been the worst consumer experience I have ever had, bar none. Out of 4 appointments I booked through their platform, their providers stood me up 2 times. My very first appointment on 4/7 was a no-show and I wish I'd taken that as a sign to find another provider. When I actually managed to see a provider on 4/14 and 5/12, the administrative nightmares began. It has been 73 days since my 4/14 appointment, and I have spent that entire time practically begging SonderMind to send me a bill so I can pay them and close my account. Instead of a resolution, I’ve faced constant stonewalling and incompetence: Fake Claim Numbers: Their support team explicitly told me my insurance (UHC) was processing the claims and gave me 7-digit numbers to verify it. UHC has confirmed they have no record of these claims. The numbers SonderMind provided were completely useless, internal tracking codes—not the 10-to-12-digit alphanumeric codes that the insurance company uses. Blatant Upcoding: After weeks of emails, I finally got a response from Sondermind by formally requesting a copy of my medical records, and discovered they dramatically upcoded my second visit on 5/12. The session lasted less than 13 minutes for a simple medication renewal with zero therapy provided. Yet, they fraudulently billed it as a 45-minute "New Patient" visit (CPT 99204) with an additional 30-minute psychotherapy add-on (CPT 90833), mirroring my first appointment exactly. This was with the same provider, so it could not have been a second "new patient" visit. I have escalated this up the ladder to their standard support, privacy, and compliance departments, setting clear deadlines for proof of submission or an accurate bill and have been ignored. I am trying to pay my bill so I can get on with my life and never interact with this company again, but they're making it impossible. If you value your time, your sanity, or your money, avoid SonderMind at all costs.

Sondermind has a history of misleading already vounerable clients about insurance acceptance gross negligence, questionable if not fraudulent billing practices and no resolution team . SonderMinds create mental health crisis . My therapist was great ,sondermind is a nightmare that caused real and measurable harm to me and my household. Do not use this llc it is a third party referal service that charges double or triple the rate the therapist charges. They are a total scam and prey on Medicare clients.

I've had the worst time working with Sondermind. After being told that one of their providers took my insurance multiple times, I was later hit with hundreds of dollars of bills. They keep charging my credit card for the full cost of the sessions I did. I even cancelled my credit card, and they somehow were able to charge my new credit card. It's been really hard to reach people on the phone. When I do, they just point fingers at my insurance company. When I talk to my insurance company, they say to talk to Sondermind. It's been ongoing for months, and I've gotten $600 of unauthorized charges on my credit card. At one point they refunded all of the charges and I thought it was resolved, only for months later them to randomly charge me for all of them again. It's been awful.
