Had an amazing therapist who I really enjoyed working with but billing was the WORST. They don’t have a direct line to billing , it’s all through email and sometimes they won’t even get back to you after they say to expect a response in 24-48 hours… They will change your current payment date. For example, if online it says your payment date is May 5th don’t be suprised if they CHANGE it and charge you April 30th. They have tried to charge me over $600 in the span of 5 days and there is nobody I can speak to over the phone. Therapy is such an essential but NOT Here

I’ve written a review before and know I have a billing problem. They confirmed they took my insurance now they are charging me 415$ per 3 sessions. Unreal. Customer service is horrible. There so called nurses are even worse. They know nothing about psychiatric disorders.

Billing is a nightmare. I’ve tried to contact them at least 5 times now to run my insurance through and they just keep ignoring me and set a payment plan up without me agreeing. My therapist or the system kept scheduling appointments without telling me dates / times and when I would login they would be crossed out. I inquired to my therapist about this and she quit that same day. I’ve not had a good experience at all and this only added to my stress. I do NOT recommend.

This company has been extremely difficult to get in touch with. There is no way to speak with an actual person—every attempt to reach them is redirected to an email inquiry page, with a promise of a response within 24–48 hours. It’s been over two weeks and I’ve reached out multiple times with no reply. That promise is clearly not being met. Additionally, they’re very unclear about their pricing structure. If you want to pay out of pocket rather than go through insurance, you’re out of luck—they don’t allow it, which ends up costing significantly more if your insurance doesn’t cover the service. Overall, I’ve been incredibly disappointed with both the customer service and transparency. I would give zero stars if that were an option. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for therapy—almost anywhere else would likely offer better communication and support than SonderMind.

My therapist is amazing but billing is the worst! I have two insurances on file and they are still charging me a balance. They also only informed me two days before the automated payment is due. When I tried to get in contact with billing, I found out there is no direct number for billing. The only way to get a hold on them is to fill out a form in Contact Us, but they can take DAYS to answer. Sometimes you won’t hear anything back. Unfortunately I’m gonna have to stop seeing my therapist and go find a different platform.

They removed my insurance from my account, billed me twice for an inaccurate amount despite me reaching out before the second bill. I have contacted them 6 times now and my therapist has contacted them an additional time. I have heard back once with no clear answers. There is no way to speak to the billing department. I believe this is purposeful negligence on their behalf so that they can overcharge customers and keep their money. Do not use this company.

worse customer service. I 'm waiting for an email response over a month now and they do not get back to me even though I have tried calling and emailing multiple times they just a ignore me. They charged my credit card when I had 2 insurances on file already. I will not be using this website anymore. Poor and inefficient customer service

I have an unresolved billing issue that has gone on for months where I’m being charged full price for a service even though it is covered under my insurance. This company has no billing number I can call and has been disregarding my emails. Do not use them. They will rip you off and just create tremendous stress.
