They show lots of providers when you do a search, but many of them are not actually accepting patients. They hide this fact until after you've already signed up, which is very misleading. Also, once you've signed up, you can't do searches. You literally can only search when you're not logged in in a browser. Ridiculous!

Glitchy portal and bad experience with therapist.

My therapist was great but your policy for having to cancel an appointment because I was ill is terrible! I will NOT pay that rediculous amount!

There have been constant billing issues since I started with Sondermind. Currently in the process to see how I can switch to another platform and keep my same therapist. I will not ever recommend anyone use Sondermind.

I’m a therapist. I can honestly, and confidently, state that sondermind is absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. Without exception! Their billing practices have long been a source of grievance from both therapists and clients. They have effectively removed all but the basic support for both populations, including isolating therapists by making it impossible to communicate with each other and share support through a community platform. Sondermind removed this platform 2+ years ago. They are the lowest paying of the four groups I work with, and there hasn’t been an increase in reimbursement in the 4+ years I’ve been with them. Their technical platform is awful, and in the years I’ve worked with sondermind, I’ve never been able to use their video system. Again, today, I received another client match that just disappears when I try to access the info so I can connect with the person asking for care. In short, the only reason I’m still with sondermind is to support the scant few clients whose insurances are not yet accepted by my other 3 platforms. Sondermind has one goal: to make as much money as possible, regardless of the clients and professionals who are left behind to deal with subpar customer support and surprise bills. Heed the advice from a therapist with 15+ years of experience, 4 of which is with sondermind: look anywhere else when seeking out a therapist. We are leaving in droves. No. Will Sondermind take this feedback seriously? No. Will Sondermind improve its overall customer service for both clients and therapists? No. Finally, are the positive reviews for Sondermind for the company itself? NO! Read through them, the positive reviews are the for therapists, whom hard to provide the best experience of support and clinical interventions we possibly can.

I am getting billed as self pay. I have dual insurance. I have reached out several times in the past two months. I have yet to receive a response. Also you have yet to update my insurance.

Sondermind has stolen approximately $2000 from me. Sondermind won't return calls. Sondermind won't even respond to my insurance company. Absolutely awful 3rd party. My therapist is perfect. Too bad Sondermind is sh!t.

He interface is absolute crap. It’s so hard to log in, and the app rarely works for me. So unreliable and infuriating for something so important. I often lose 5-10 minutes of therapy time because of problems with the software.
