Dave Bokel is a joke and speaks with a forked tongue. He doesn't know what his limits or abilities to help others. He came up with some very lame excuses for why he couldn't help me any more, plus he insinuated that others at Sondermind couldn't help me. Where did he get his license from?

Charis Vela, one of the licensed therapists. Absolutely do not recommend. This individual has displayed extremely unprofessional and inappropriate behavior, including harassment, boundary violations, and actions that cross both ethical and legal lines. Instead of supporting others, she invades privacy, spreads misinformation, and targets people in damaging ways. It’s deeply concerning that someone in a mental health role would engage in such conduct. For your safety and peace of mind, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a therapist with integrity, professionalism, and genuine respect for clients and boundaries.

The digital platform is unreliable. Messaging is slow but worse the website does not work most of the time. There is a constant wait to render. The messaging section doesn't render 50% of the time. Sometimes I cannot even login.

Charged for cancellation when I was there

I lost complete trust in everyone at Sondermind. I scheduled an appointment online and waited at least a week for an appointment. During that time I received continuous reminder messages about my upcoming appointment. When the appointment finally came the therapist said he scheduled my appointment for the next week. I didn't get 1 single reminder. I missed the appointment because I could not find it on the app or anywhere. Then I get a charge for $105.00 a no-show fee. I tried to explain but the customer service is horrible. I'm still waiting for a return call from the escalation team. I even contacted the therapist about it. All I got were excuses that it's not his area. I asked why he couldn't tell me when I messaged him earlier that I had a no show. He told me he doesn't know anything about appointments or a schedule for the day. He just answers to whoever is there. They were supposed to help with anxiety etc. But all they did was make it worse and acted like they enjoyed it. I lost all trust I received a message from Sondermind after I posted this review and was told they don't take complaints online. If you read the review. I'm waiting for a call from the escalation team. The customer service rep told me when I CALLED that he escalated my complaint and like I said. No return call.

It took weeks to get an answer and the account still says unable to verify your insurance information.

I wish somebody had information on medical records. Your website is very blasé when you call customer service. Nobody knows anything about contacting anybody to talk to about medical records. It’s been two weeks since I ordered my medical records. Y’all have up to a month yet. I don’t know if it’s coming or not because there’s no way to talk to anybody at your company. It’s as if it’s run by a bunch of independence which I believe it probably is y’all could get it together a little better.
