I do not recommend utilizing the services of SonderMind Therapy. Our experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. After we cancelled several appointments and clearly informed them that we would not be rescheduling, they continued to reschedule appointments without contacting us. Even more concerning, they rescheduled appointments for days we had specifically told them we were not available. Despite our clear communication, they proceeded to charge our HSA card for the full amount of three appointments that had been cancelled. This was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, they are nearly impossible to reach by phone, making it very difficult to resolve billing issues or communicate concerns. Overall, the lack of communication, unauthorized rescheduling, and improper billing practices make this a service I cannot recommend.

I began sessions with SonderMind two months ago. Very disappointed with services I received from this company and therapist. In the beginning, the therapist is good about responding to messages but communication soon stopped when I questioned the medication she was trying to prescribe. It was dangerous combination with my current meds prescribed from primary care. When I questioned the next medication prescribed she (Clara Huff) cancelled all my appointments and cut off communication. Very sad that when I reached out bc I needed a therapist and to be treated this way is unacceptable. BE MINDFUL OF WHO YOU CHOOSE TO CARE FOR YOU….

Our provider doesn't respond to our messages. Canceled appointment on the day of the appointment.

I have written this company twice requesting a customer service number so I can talk with a representative, but they have ignored me, never answering my inquiries. This company's reply is to address the issue through their website and not publicly. I did, they still have not provided a customer service number for me to speak with a representative in real time.

My therapist was great, but billing is shady and unresponsive. I specifically chose this platform because it said it was in-network and my out-of-pocket amount would be $0. After allowing me to rack up ~$500 over 3 months, their support department reached out to say it was not in-network and they would be charging me personally. It also said if I had any questions, I should reach out. My insurance shows that they ARE in-network, and I responded to SonderMind 3 times over the next month, but they never responded and just kept charging my card. I finally had to cancel my credit card. If SonderMind does what I’ve seen them do to other clients’ complaints, they’ll paste a generic apology under this review directing me to contact them, which I’ve already done multiple times, only to hear radio silence. Deplorable.

Absolutely terrible customer service. First, they didn't bill my EAP. I saw the upcoming charge and opened a ticket to review the billing. They didn't pause my upcoming bills, so I got charged. Then I tried to contact custumer service. I got out on hold for billing. Put in my member for a, callback. Got called back by someone not in billing. She put me back in the queue for billing. After about 5 min I was forced to put in my phone number for a call back. I then got a call back telling me that no customer degree l service people were available and goodbye. No idea now how to talk to someone to get this resolved.

I recently used Sondermind to meet with a new therapist, and she was ok, but this was a site that accepts my insurance. I have been in therapy long term under the same plan and am well aware there should be a 10 dollar copay only. They charged the whole service to my debit card and have not followed up on the multiple tickets I have submitted.

Terrible platform. You dont care about patient well being only care about payments. Would not recommend or use again.
