Highly disappointed in customer service for replacement of defective bra. I have bought my bras from Soma for years. Received a defective bra with broken strap that i did not even wear once. They just told me it would be 2-3 weeks for a replacement. I shipped bra back to them at their request. That was annoying to start. Now I need to wait weeks for a replacement? Unacceptable. Very disappointed with Soma!

I will never purchase from Soma again.
I will never purchase from Soma again.
I bought 5 pairs of underwear during a buy 3, get 2 free sale and returned 3 pairs. Soma refunded me only $11.52. After calling, I was told the refund was processed incorrectly and they owed me another $7, but they still refused to refund anything for two of the three pairs because those happened to be marked as the “free” items.
That is absurd. I returned 60% of my order, yet Soma is treating two returned items as having zero value because of how they internally applied the promotion. Customers should not lose the value of returned merchandise simply because Soma arbitrarily assigns the discount to specific items.
The underwear was disappointing as well. I still had visible underwear lines, and the silicone lining was uncomfortable.
Terrible product and an even worse return experience. Soma needs to do better.

I placed an international order with SOMA
I placed an international order with Soma on June 28, 2026. Three months later, I have never received the merchandise.
I contacted Soma numerous times and received contradictory information—first that the package was lost, then that it was held in Mexican customs.
Most importantly, Soma confirmed in writing that if my package was not delivered by July 26, it would be considered lost and I would be refunded. It was not delivered, but no refund came.
On August 8, I called Soma. The representative reviewed my account and told me she could see that nothing had been done about the refund. She assured me she would process it immediately. Again, no refund.
On August 21, I called again and spoke with Lucas (case #01975237). He told me I now had to wait until August 24. When I confronted him with Soma's emails stating July 26, he told me that what those representatives had written was not true. How can customers trust written information from a company if another representative later says it was not true?
I called again on September 25 and spoke with Patricia. She told me the refund has finally been issued. I am still waiting to see the money in my account.
Even more concerning, when I enter my order number into Soma's automated phone system, it says my order was DELIVERED. It was NEVER delivered. Patricia could see that it had not been delivered.
After three months, I have received conflicting shipment information, changing refund deadlines, failed refund promises, and now an incorrect “delivered” status.
This should never require months of emails and phone calls just to recover money paid for merchandise never received.
I am sharing my experience so other customers, especially international customers, know what happened before ordering from Soma.

Soma uses bait and switch advertising
Soma uses bait and switch advertising. They advertised buy 3 pair, get 2 free. No other instructions nor a coupon code. I ordered 3–no free pairs. I contacted Soma customer support and was told I should have ordered 5!! They owe me 2 pair of panties!!
Who in their right mind would pay full price for 3 pair and not expect the free ones??

No refund on return.
I purchased 3 bras from Soma Intimates for $230.30 CDN. Upon receipt I found they were too small. I immediately called and set up for a return. The order was created on August 3rd and according to the DHL Express tracking was delivered to the retailer on August 6th. After receiving no refund I reached out on August 28th. I was told that the items had not yet been received. I sent them a copy of the tracking form and asked for an immediate refund. No response. No refund. Are they keeping my money? Stealing? Has anyone had a similar situation? I am considering reaching out to the Better Business Bureau.

ABSOLUTE TRASH QUALITY — Defective Seams & Insulting Customer Service
Do not buy the Vanishing Tummy Modern Brief Panty. I have been a loyal Soma customer since 1998, but their quality has completely tanked. Almost EVERY SINGLE PAIR from my original order and the replacements they sent have completely unraveled at the leg seams. The stitching disintegrates after a few wears. When I complained about this clear manufacturing defect, corporate care (Tammy) gave me a massive runaround and treated a 28-year loyal customer like garbage. I had to file a BBB complaint just to get a pre-paid return label. After mailing back 4 ruined pairs, they sent a generic, un-personalized letter and an insulting $47.60 credit—which doesn't even cover the pairs they told me to discard or the hours I wasted on hold. Now, even MORE of the replacements are falling apart exactly the same way (see photos). Soma refuses to stand behind their products. Save your money and go to a competitor who uses quality thread.

Awful customer service
I used the chat function, I got hung up on when I asked for a return even though I was being cordial. I am both disappointed by the solution to my problem presented by this agent and their behaviour in ending the chat. I tried to resolve through the customer service email but was never responded to. Awful customer service.
