I started with Solomon at the beginning of my senior year, which was very last minute. Yet, even with my short time working with my consultant, I was blown away with the assistance I received. I had a high GPA and ACT to begin with, but I needed guidance on how to angle myself based on my extra-curriculars for college admissions. Working with my consultant, she suggested top schools along with my personal picks that fit my profile, and from that list, I selected the schools and got to work! Like most students, I was very busy during the college application time, yet we worked around my schedule to cram in essays in the couple of months we spent together. I would write, and my consultant would either edit or help tweak the direction of my statement by posing questions so that I could turn it into a well-developed response that showcased me. Most importantly, my consultant and the editing team helped me create essays that I was proud of and gave me confidence during the application phase. Additionally, I was instructed on how to approach a college interview, and develop an effective resume, learning skills applicable to the future. I got into my very top choice school with the help of Solomon, and I am excited to be attending there in the fall!

Solomon Admissions is a professional service provider focusing on college application. After the contract is signed and the payment is made, your kid will be given a lengthy list of questions to answer. After they review the answers, they will assign your kid a college counselor. When the first meeting kicks off, the college counselor will have known your kid pretty well by reading those answers. Therefore, your kid should spend time and effort to answer those questions very carefully. Unlike any other similar firms, Solomon provides services for the whole college application process including positioning, pros and cons analysis of your kid, college selection, application package review, essay review and editing, interview, deferral/waitlist handling, and so on. The college counselor assigned to our kid is Cathleen S. We are really impressed with her knowledge, experience, and professionalism and have been very happy working with her during this stressful journey. We started working with Solomon in the junior year and they did a fantastic job of navigating the complex environment of the US College application process.
