Solomon Admissions ConsultingReviews of solomonadmissions.com

Solomon was very helpful during my college admissions process, even though I had only started working with them in the August before applying to college. Everything was clearly explained and their strategic positioning was extremely helpful. I had the premium three college package and ultimately was accepted to 2/3 of these colleges (both Ivy League universities). My emails were always promptly responded to and Solomon aided me in every aspect of the admissions process, from building my profile to interviewing and writing essays. I strongly recommend Solomon and had a very pleasant experience with them.

A great service! We thank Soloman again for their service, and it delivered all what we wanted...my daughter got accepted from her dream school!

Mr. Zimmerman definitely helped me improve my essays and helped put together a unique application that fitted not only my personality, but helped bring out my best qualities in my essays. He is very very strict, but that was the type of discipline I needed to time manage and motivate myself. Overall, I would 100% recommend him as a consultant.

The Solomon team has tremendous overall knowledge of the college admissions process. They were extremely thorough in developing an understanding our daughter’s personal background, academic record and long term interests to pursue in college and beyond. As a result, they were able to provide invaluable insights into school selection and the presentation of her story within the application. She benefitted greatly from their counsel and ended up with a fantastic outcome in the admissions process.

Thanks to Solomon, my daughter is happily enrolled at Tulane University, which was her first choice!

Our son is probably a little bit different in what he needed help with. He maintained that he wanted to do activities that truly represented his interest and personality, and not starting something just for the sake of how top schools would look at him. We knew full well that meant that it would make it hard to get into the top schools in the country even though , his academic records and test scores definitely qualified him for those schools. When we first signed on with Solomon, we were paired with a consultant that was definitely wrong for us. However, as soon as we contacted one of the senior partner in the company, he quickly understood and gave us opportunities to switch to another consultant. And our new consultant, Mark was exactly what my son needed. He was insightful and straight forward and encouraging at the same time. His advice and guidance in the essay writing process was invaluable . He pushed our son to a level of writing that brought out all of him on paper , the essays truly spoke for our son. He got into his top choice school that was in the category of high reach for him, with acceptance rate of 12%. Our son reached his goal, to get into a top school by being himself and the school is an excellent fit for him. We can’t thank Mark enough. And Indirectly , Solomon Consulting.

Overall, I am happy with my experience and I recommend it. For context, I started looking for college advisers in the summer before junior year of high school. At this point, I was not looking for someone to advise me on what exactly to do with my extracurricular time in order to get into one particular school, but someone to help me package what I already have through my college essays and to give feedback on my choice of school. The adviser that I ended up understood exactly what I was looking for, and adjusted accordingly. This adviser, over the course of a year, gave me some of the most brutally honest and constructive college essay feedback I had ever received to the point that I improved at essay writing in my classes. This adviser looked at the schools I suggested aiming for and gave nonjudgmental yet insightful comments that lead me to reconsider on my own time what it was that I really looked for in a school. By the end of the process, I came out with strong essays and a strong idea of the right school for me.

We were very happy with their services. Great results! We would highly recommend them to friends and family!
