I had an amazing experience with Solomon especially with Adriana, the person I worked with specifically. I applied to a range of schools including Cornell, Penn, Vanderbilt, BC, and Colgate for transfer. Coming from a middle to upper tier school with a higher, but not perfect GPA, I didn't expect to be able to get into some of my top, more competitive choices. Because of Adriana's help and advice, I received admission to Cornell and Tufts, among other schools. I don't think I would have gotten these opportunities if I hadn't worked with Adriana and Solomon. In addition, I truly let them use my resume, grades, and other credentials to approach this process and present myself in the best possible way. I had a lot fo fun working with Adriana and felt that she never put pressure on me, and was always there to answer my questions or hop on a call to discuss an approach. I have already started to refer Solomon to people I know that are interested in transferring because of how much success I had. Thank you Adriana and Solomon!!!

Just outstanding work—game changing!

Mr. Peter Zimmerman is truly extraordinary! My daughter did not start college applications with him until last August, but he was able to make a tremendous difference in strategic positioning, information streamlining, essay polishing, interview preparation, and most recently, college decisions. His advice is always candid and very insightful, and he is able to give perspective on college applications from the perspective of an admissions officer. When my daughter found out last-minute that she had an interview for a school, Peter quickly shifted their call for the week to an impromptu mock interview where she was able to prepare and practice. After this, she felt much more confident for her interview. Peter was a huge help when working through essays, whether through brainstorming topics or clarifying ideas. He has been a great help throughout the entire application process, and we could not have been as successful without him.

We had a phenomenal experience with Samantha Shepard-Guerinoni. Samantha is brilliant, provides fantastic advice, and responds immediately to any question throughout the whole process. She is wonderfully caring and incredibly smart. Our daughter was accepted into every university thanks to Samantha. I give her the absolute highest recommendation and am so grateful that we were able to work with her these past 2 years!

I had an amazing experience with Solomon Admissions Consulting. I worked with Dillan Villavisanis who was extremely thoughtful, honest about potential concerns, and provided genuine feedback. Every concern I raised with him was addressed and I was encouraged to truly think deeply about certain aspects of my application to ensure an optimal experience. I believe he took into account many details and helped me shape an application that truly showcased all my talents. I believe I was able to interview and be accepted at top schools such as UCSF and Stanford mainly due to Dillan's feedback on my application. I have no regrets using Solomon Admissions Consulting and especially recommend Dillan Villavisanis for his diligent work.

It is a true pleasure to write this review for our Admissions Counselor, Cathleen Sheils. Over the past two and a half years, Cathleen has been a source of invaluable wisdom and guidance for both me and my children. When our family began the college admissions journey with Cathleen, I can say that none of us realized the extent that my children would need to differentiate themselves to even have a seat at the table when it came to competitive college selections. It seemed to me that working with Cathleen and Solomon would consist primarily of help with essay content and editing, reading over applications, and reviewing activity choices. Our work with Cathleen encompassed oh so much more than that! Cathleen started out by challenging my children to develop a personal narrative about their future selves. She taught us that before we could even think about the "right" college, we needed to begin with figuring out a positioning that made sense for them as individuals. This was not an easy process for the two of them, and I can say that there were times both of my children became frustrated when asked to scrutinize some of their preconceived notions about this process. There was soul searching, extensive writing, and discipline required to define their narratives. Cathleen was very no-nonsense about their responsibilities and choices. This, I believe, is one of her greatest strengths as a counselor. She teaches that if you aren't willing to put in the work up front, don't even think about being able to run with the big dogs! Cathleen worked with our family every step of the way. She led us through the selection of internships and honed applications for rigorous summer programs designed to develop my children as researchers and contributors beyond high school. Cathleen expected excellence, and because she believed they were capable of it, my children responded in kind. By the time my children were ready to finalize their applications, I can say with conviction that Cathleen ensured both of them submitted the most competitive package of which they were capable! I must admit that as my children head off to college, I am feeling a bit bittersweet about our time with Cathleen coming to an end. She has been a wonderful advocate for my children, and she pushed them to grow in ways that will continue to benefit them in their years as undergraduates and beyond. We are most grateful for Cathleen and our Solomon experience!

Unfortunately we did not get past the initial consultation. We had two discussions with an an individual responsible for "Family Onboarding". Our family was deeply unimpressed with a) the presentation of their services, b) their attitude toward our son's goals/objectives and c) lack of and time effort answering our questions for what would likely have been a $20k service. We found a much better service.

Cathleen is a great counselor. She always makes things clear and on demand. She has right directions and pursues firmly towards those directions. She is bit strict and produces good results of her follow-ups
