We were very fortunate to work with Cathleen Sheils through the college application process. Cathleen's words of wisdom, persistent encouragement and focused advice were the foundation of our daughter's support system through the process leading to a positive outcome. Cathleen's experience as an Admissions Director combined with her strong judgement makes her a very effective counselor, especially as it relates to the many decisions that need to be made during the college process. We would recommend Cathleen without hesitation to any family looking for sound advice and guidance on college admissions.

Cathleen’s incredible support and unwavering dedication throughout our family’s journey have been truly indispensable. Her first-hand experience as an Admissions Director was invaluable—every phone call, working session, and piece of advice was delivered through the lens of an admissions officer. Her expertise and tireless commitment to ensuring our daughter put forth her very best effort led to an incredibly positive outcome. Navigating the current college admissions process is not for the faint of heart, but Cathleen made what seemed like an impossible challenge feel manageable at every turn. We feel so fortunate to have had her by our side and wholeheartedly recommend Cathleen and Solomon without hesitation.

With Cathleen S, this is our second time around. She was instrumental in helping our child to craft a unique narrative. And her long time experience in college admissions helps us navigate through the small, yet sticky questions that are bound to come up in this process. We are so thankful for her expert counsel!

We are incredibly thankful to Will Giles for his expertise and guidance. He started working with our son when he was in 9th grade. He helped him grow as a person into a young man. Will’s advice has pushed him to learn and expand in a wide variety of ways. Will’s incisive ability to provide expert perspective on everything leading up to my son’s applications and during the application process made a huge difference. I questioned many things along the way but Will knew what he was doing. In the end, we trusted the process and it worked. Our son was accepted to a highly selective university that was his top choice. Solomon's strategy was effective and we are very appreciative.

Overall our Solomon experience was excellent. Our son was fortunate to work with advisor Will Giles and was accepted at his first choice (which was honestly a real reach). Will helped our son come up with a strategic plan starting in his sophomore year. The plan laid out a guide map of activities and initiatives to build a cogent story around his strategic positioning. Starting the summer before senior year, Will worked with our son to get a lot of application work (essays/activity lists/resume) done, which made the process much more palatable during a busy senior fall. Will had an excellent understanding of the nuances of the college selection and application process. His in depth knowledge of what each school looks for was a gamechanger in how our son approached each application. Our son was also trying to play a college sport, and Will was also flexible with the sudden changes that occurred during that process. Getting into college isn't easy these days, and working with Will and Solomon gave our son a noticeable edge. Highly recommend.

Excellent Work I had a great time working with Solomon Admissions and my consultant Will Giles. The work he did was meticulous and ensured that I was pointed in the right direction. From assisting me with essays to aiding me with interviews, he helped me with all and for that I am very glad.

Maura helped both of our children with the college application process and we couldn't be more satisfied. She is straightforward, practical, extremely responsive, balanced, kind, wise, 100% spot on in her assessments, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She's an exceptional writer and communicator. We could not imagine a better experience. We are extremely grateful.

Big help! Thank you!
