I promote my latest book via soloist
I promote my latest book, so one of the things I needed was a dedicated web page. I already had a custom domain but I did not want to use tools like wordpress that come with it. I needed something which would allow me to focus on the content rather than keeping me with technical details. I am an old school minimalist, so I planned to have the bare minimum and wanted use my old Mozilla html editor but could not find it as I left it last time ages ago. I found soloist instead and to my surprise, it magically did fit for my needs as if the developers knew what most people need. On top of that, it creates sites that are modern, needless to say, not comparable to my pure html mind-set. It is tailor-made for my needs as a content provider and I use almost all its features (i.e. sections, email, map, etc.). I also connected my custom domain to it easily without prior knowledge about DNS settings because it guides you through the process closely. The site is functional almost instantly, looks awesome, and ridiculously intuitive to add/remove/edit content.
