i bought 4500$ of cabinets was 1/2 of what they retailed for.GREAT deal!put 700$ down for deposit.when I came to pay the balance I was charged 4100.$.no explanation..and then I OK'D them to send my cabinets missing (3 doors) and 3 months later I still dont have them!!!I was told the sales assoc i dealt with no longer worked for them but apparently no one else took his place,as i have not heard from them in 3days.swc has 1 day to recify this b4 I go viral. Next day6/6 got a 21" door i was missing for 3 months opened packaging,big dent in middle of door,gouge on bottom right exterior.Am ready to pull cabinets down and dump at store and ask for a refund,ALL after speaking with a manager who said she would email me with status today.NO EMAIL.LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE,LOUSY PRODUCT!!!update 6/7 I recieved my doors today hand delivered.my faith in mankind has been restored.too bad I had to go to such lengths to find it.Thank you solid wood for your prompt response to my post.Was told the doors were held up in customs.why couldn't you tell me that the first time i called?I would have beeen ok knowing it was out of your control.the truth may not always be popular but it would have been the best thing.Now I am satisfied with my cabinets.

We placed our order on April 16th and were told 10 day. On May 1st we were told May 9th. On May 9th we were told May 25th. So I set up delivery for today May 25th. I call to confirm, not on the schedule for today. I was told at 9AM the scheduler would call me back. No call as of 3pm. Do yourself a favor and don’t use these untrustworthy people. I’m now at 6 weeks without a kitchen.

The sales lady gave us the name of a company to install. They no showed us and we lost time from work. They did not return phone calls. The sales lady wanted nothing to do with us after she made her money. The cabinets came with several defects, and the installer we hired stated the defects were repaired with the kit they give out to customers! Just ridiculous. We have made sure no one we know goes to this business. Customer service horrendous and product quality mediocre.

Very disappointed. I was told that someone will call to schedule an appointment to deliver but that never happened. After not hearing from anyone in weeks I called and they schedule an appointment. My delivery came and cabinets was discolored, damaged, not painted in areas, missing parts and doors. I called and was told it was on back order and I have not received anything yet. It’s been weeks. No one followerd up with me. On top of that they left a cabinet on the porch. Once my contractor started putting up cabinets he noticed three different area of cabinets space is either to small to fit all cabinets or to big for the cabinets to fit from the beginning to end of the wall. The space was measured by the company twice. She came out to check measurements. At this time I have no answers. No one has returned my calls and I still don’t have my missing parts. Don’t get any cabinets from here if have had read these reviews before I purchased you cabinets. I would have ran fast! But a friend recommended this place so I went off of her experience.

I’m sorry I did business with Solid Wood Cabinets! The only good part of the experience was working with their designer. After that it has been all down hill. There were issues with every wall cabinet. The interiors of the cabinets did not match. Some had a light interior others were darker. The holes for the shelf pins were different sizes some small some large and the supplied pins weren’t always the right ones. The inside of two cabinets had delaminated areas on the back panel. One small cabinet was missing holes for shelf pins on one side! Worst part is they wouldn’t make good on all the damaged items because I installed the cabinets. They expect the buyer of their cabinets to be better qualified than their own Quality Assurance people. If you don’t spot the issues before installation you’re screwed because they won’t send replacements for installed cabinets. I would like to see a class action suit started against these crooks.

Run!! GO elsewhere! Order cabinets April 2017 took till June till we had all the parts. Stupid me went back and bought island Nov 2017, it is 1/24/2018 and we only have 1/2 the order!!!!! :( Call and NO One calls back! Terrible, terrible service, company should be reported to BBB

As a contractor, this has been my absolute worst experience with solid wood cabinets. I originally got with them in Brick New Jersey several years ago and had an amazingly good experience. My latest project in North Jersey has been a complete disaster. Everything from not having enough material even though the computer program said we would have enough, to having wrong doors on cabinets two very poor quality Hardware with screws missing and left inside the drawer, drawers that would not line up properly, doors that would not open and close properly. When I contacted to Warehouse they said my replacement doors would be here on December 4th. It is now December 12th and I have no replacement cabinet doors wrong Style. the assembly quality has gone way down. For the quality that you're getting you would expect these cabinets to be 80% less than everyone else when in fact they are right there with other companies that deliver high-quality cabinets. Solid wood cabinets should absolutely start hiring high quality assembly people who actually care about what they do. Once there was a problem with the order phone calls have not been returned from the branch in Woodbridge which I originally did business with.

Poor quality and you will be waiting months for cabinets and doors. They charged me for the full amount for my order before I received anything from them. I wish I read the reviews before coming here. Big mistake.
