When I discovered a great sailing template on my Mac to rewrite a journal I had kept while sailing many years ago with our young kids, I couldn't wait to get it printed. Unfortunately, I was unable to find any company that would print my template with both text and photos. After searching the internet, I discovered Solentro. I emailed them to see if they could print my journal and received a reply within hours explaining how to save my project and upload it to their website. Though their website said to expect 2-3 weeks since I am in the US, I received my books just short of 2 weeks. They are beautifully printed...a keepsake for my kids for years to come. I will use Solentro again for a project such as this and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you Solentro for making it possible to get my journal printed!

I have wanted for some time to make a book of my husband's father's and grandfather's photos along with some text of their memories. I found Solentro a very easy site to accomplish this project on. Everything was very easy to understand and use in the process of putting the book together. The ordering was easy and the books were shipped in a timely manner. Very happy with the entire experience. I'm giving the books for Christmas presents and I'm sure the recipients will be pleased!

The book quality was amazing, and the pictures came out so much better than I anticipated. Great gift; It made such a huge impact! It also came so much quicker From Sweden to the US (Connecticut) than I imagined as well.

I love the site (although it took a little getting used to) and the book is beautiful, exactly as I'd created it. I realize that it was coming from Sweden, but it took one month from the order date to the arrival date, which seemed rather slow. That would have been okay if I could have tracked the package but their tracking link listed only the mailing date and nothing else. I got a little nervous. They were prompt in responding to my inquiry, but gave no ETA or any other information. It finally arrived, though, and we're very happy with the results.

I used Solentro to make an anniversary gift book for my sister. The interface of the program was incredibly easy to use so that I could customize to my exact needs. The finished product is beautiful and professional. My only caveat is that because of the company's location all purchasers should read the FAQ about shipping BEFORE beginning their project. I didn't. The three week shipping time had me sweating furiously about whether or not the book would arrive in time for their anniversary. However, to turn a negative into a positive: when I got too anxious, I emailed the company to ask about shipping details and tracking information and the VERY NEXT MORNING got a personal reply with all the reassurance I needed. In short: excellent software, excellent product, excellent customer service. Just make sure the timetable works for you!

When exploring online for a self-publishing format I was immediately attracted by Solentro's clarity and simplicity. Using their service has been nothing but a delight; their interface is so attractive that I wish I could come up with more book ideas just for the sheer joy of playing around with all their resources. The flexibility and creativity they allow is virtually endless. Perhaps, if I had one suggestion, would be to ask for a slightly larger choice of Print Fonts (but what Solentro already offers is excellent). Their finished product is absolute quality: solid binding, gorgeous layout, vivid colors, and more importantly the book totally duplicates the quality of the images and text we input. I've also gotten quick and helpful support from them any time I've needed to ask a question. I'm eager to use them again!

The final product was satisfactory, in particular the reproductions of the photos selected for the book. I was somwhat disappointed about the first and final pages, as it was not clear to me how they would appear behind the clear front and back covers chosen. Had I realized this, I would have chosen a photo to be on the front page. I also could not tell when typing into the pages that the type would be as large as it was, and could have gotten some poems on one page rather than two. However, the quality of the printing and the paper was very good. I found the entry of information a bit awkward as I had to go the the revew each time I wanted to see how it actually laid out on the page, which was time consuming, as it did not display the same way when entering it. I would have like to be able to move the pages around, but found that in order to revise the order of the pages, I had to delete and add a page and retype all over again in order to place it in a different order.
