Let me start by saying that 90% of my Reviews are positive. If Zero (0) Stars were possible, SolarWise would get that rating. We made a decision to change out our Solar Thermal Controllers for a number of reasons and called Robert and were told he was an Authorized Dealer and Approved Installer for Stiebel Eltron, a German Controller used in Germany and much of Europe. We later learned that he was acting as neither. He was buying equipment from the cheapest online source, not from the US Representatives of Stiebel Eltron so no telling where the equipment he sold us actually came from. We also discovered that Stiebel Eltron does not have approved or registered installers in New Mexico, perhaps they did elsewhere but not here. We purchased a SOM 9+ controller and from the very start it was obvious that Robert from SolarWise had no clue about it. He could not work through the programming even to buy and install the correct SD Card used to share Controller Information. After screwing around for a month or so trying to get the system up and running, Robert took off for Mexico and all attempts to contact him went unanswered. We were left with a Solar Thermal Hot Water system that had run flawlessly for 12 years but that needed an upgrade in tech for Controller obsolescence completely inoperative. No, SOLARWISE is a disaster, stay away.
