Sogo is a really good survey website! It was extremely easy to use, and I really didn't have to watch the demos! I am using Sogo for my thesis for my Bachelor's degree, and I love the way it generates graphs and even calculates the percentage for each question! Awesome website and I would recommend to all! P.s. I am an undergraduate student in Cognitive Science. Part of my research is designing experiments to find out what kind of correlations there are between language and cognition - what better way to gather data for this question than through an online survey? And thus began the search for an online survey tool that could control for all the things I needed it to, given my limited resources as an undergraduate student. I had been using SurveyMonkey for a while, but in the end it wasn't able to keep up with the complexity of my survey structure. Other sites like Survey Gizmo and Typeform were a little better, but were all lacking in one way or another, often sacrificing the accessibility of one feature for another. I wasn't able to find a platform that could cater to all my needs without paying expensive fees. I wanted a survey platform that was worth my money. At first glance there seem to be many options, as most sites advertise themselves as free. Only after many rounds of trial and error did I realize that, in order to get access to the more powerful features such as randomization and answer piping that were absolutely crucial to my experimental design, I had to pay expensive fees of over three figures to gain access to one or two features out of a bundle that was otherwise of no use to me. Upon coming across SoGoSurvey on a ResearchGate post, I had struck gold: not only were the prices fair for each plan fair, but there was the generous offer of a free subscription for students. In comparing the various features that SoGoSurvey offered at each different plan level, you can see that the distribution for all the different features was fair, that the basic necessities such as logic and branching were offered at the free tier. Features like answer piping, which was important for participant identification, and randomization, important for keeping the survey itself unbiased and biases to a minimum, were all offered as part of the Plus plan instead of split up between different tiers, which would otherwise make it difficult to design a controlled experiment. The user-interface is straightforward and easy to understand. Even though there are a lot of different parameters that can be changed, the page never looks cluttered and is well organized. One thing that I found really useful was being able to preview the survey without having to exit out of the tab, which helped me keep track of what I needed to change alongside what I already have. The Support team also does a great job of responding and addressing any problems the client may have. Everyone that I was in correspondence with has been nothing short of friendly and eager to help me solve my problems, and usually replies came within the hour. In all these ways, SoGoSurvey does an excellent job of catering to the needs of its clients. I'm really glad that I came across this excellent site, that has helped me design a reliable survey that I can use in my experiment. I highly recommend it to anyone who's doing similar work with measuring data from controlled environments, as well as students who are looking for accessible options to functional online survey tools.

This survey tool, is the best I've found. I have been looking for a free surveying tool for my dissertation topic, although I have not been able to find much. I had heard a lot about survey monkey but was fairly disappointed after signing up. Sogosurvey shows to be far more simple to work with. Everything is clear and straight forward and the resources it has are vast. I see it has many templates to use although I cannot comment too much on these as I have not used them. The pricing of Sogosurvey is fair for what you are getting I think. They offer free plans for members who are students as well as discount but I think even if you were to pay full price, it would still be worth it as it is such a robust tool. In terms of business use, it is so clear cut, that it is sure to look professional even without much input being required. This is incredibly important as it means less time is spent on creating studies which in turn means there is more time for them to run. Clear and simple surveys will also help improve response rates as completion of the study will not seem as chore like. The next point I would like to make is about the email contact team as they reply incredibly quickly, and although most information you need is in videos and help sections on the website, the contact team on email are very fast to respond - something which is lacking in many companies these days. The bottom line is that I would recommend this surveying tool over any other as from my experience (and I have long been searching for a good surveying tool for my questionnaire) this is clearly the best one to go for. So do not waste time over searching for others and get started here as I do not think you will regret it!

I've been having real trouble finding a simple easy and, most importantly cost effective way of arranging my study questionnaire and analysing my data for my dissertation. Having trawled the web looking at offerings from Survey Monkey, Lime Survey, GoSci, to name a few, I was getting more and more frustrated, by either the cost involved in getting something decent to work with or the complicated way of accessing sites, or creating questions. In some cases all three! Sogo survey is really easy to use. Setting up the questionnaire couldn't be simpler. The variety of question formats meant I didn't have to completely restructure the questions I had already devised on paper. The data analysis is also really easy to interpret, another important factor for someone who is not “statistically minded. I am curious about the results of the verbatim report as my study is mixed methodology, I haven’t got to using it yet, but if the rest of product is anything to go by it should simplify my task tremendously!! The customer service via email is surprisingly quick and effective at providing answers to questions. While it may not be personal ‘on the phone support’ I have been reassured by the speed of response, and actually prefer this as, being a mom of two, I am not always sat at my desk waiting for a phone call and I can deal with issues in my time. For students there is a very cheap way of gaining access to all of sogo survey's fab features, Just check out the student plans on their website. If you already have ideas for your dissertation or are looking for ideas SoGo is definitely worth a look!

I subscribed using my university email address and I already built up one questionnaire. SoGoSurvey.com offered me much easier interface than I experienced before. The website has the "appeal" I looked for and it gave the option to choose from several design options for the "look" of my questionnaire through the (Look and Feel) section. I was looking for an online survey to use the data in my master thesis and I read good reviews about SoGoSurvey. I gave it a try and I was very happy with the results. You can create easily your own survey with lots of options to design it and customize it. To start you can watch some tutorial videos, but you can also start just by trying because it is really simple. You have several ways to send the survey: post the link on a website, share it on social media or send it by email. That can be an advantage if you want to reach different participants. After that you can also control the status of the invitations with the “response table”, which allows you to control how many people have answered your survey. In case you have some deadlines, this feature is very useful as you still have time to take some actions to be able to receive more answers. One of the reasons that I chose SoGoSurvey is the advantage of having the survey in different languages. In my case I couldn’t send it in English, so it was mandatory to have not only the questions and answers that I created for the survey in my mother tongue, but also the instructions/commands. For me it was really helpful. Another feature that I like is “preview survey” that allows you to check how the survey would look like before you send it to the participants. When you are not happy with the outcome, you still have the option to edit the survey. SoGoSurvey is a good survey toll for student’s purposes. I recommend it!
