Meta ads account restricted for 2+ years
Not sure exactly what they did but they caused my Facebook ads account to be disabled by Meta. This was over two years ago and it's still restricted with Meta not providing an explanation or resolution. Additionally, I was left with thousands of IG accounts that I'm now following (way out-numbering my followers) and I have to go through and unfollow accounts whenever I have time. Don't normally post one-star reviews but this has caused me much stress and completely derailed my marketing strategy. More of a warning to others looking to engage them as I wouldn't want them to go through what I am experiencing. Update - in response to Social Growth Engine response: You know full well you gained access to my FB Ads account and that's why it has been restricted - you even suggested I create an entirely new Meta account as a solution - I have the email correspondence to prove it if you like? As for the Instagram followers - the reason you didn't fix the issue is because of the account restriction and subsequent discontinuation of your services. We all make mistakes, so perhaps own up to your incompetence instead of lying - better for your brand. Update: Thanks Ryan but hard pass. I've given you an extra star though for the offer.
Response from Social Growth EngineJun 20, 2024
Hi Tim, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered and the stress they have caused. I'd like to address your concerns and help find a resolution. Firstly, I want to clarify that our services do not involve accessing or managing Facebook Ads accounts. Meta (Facebook) can restrict accounts for a variety of reasons, many of which are beyond our control, such as inactivity, identity verification, or other compliance checks. I understand how frustrating this can be, and I'm truly sorry this has impacted your marketing strategy. Regarding the Instagram accounts you're following, our standard practice is to unfollow any accounts we follow on your behalf. However, if we were restricted from your account due to password changes or being logged out, we might not have been able to complete this process. Given that this issue dates back two years, we may not have immediate records, but our customer service team is ready to assist. Please reach out to us, and we'll do our best to retrieve any relevant information from our archives and help you manage your followers. I apologize for the inconvenience and the stress this situation has caused. We're here to support you and ensure you have a positive experience moving forward. Best regards, Ryan Turner Customer Support Team Social Growth EngineZ @Tim replying to your update, there is no reason for us to "lie" Google META restricting accounts for no reason, or not giving a reason when you add a new company or user or marketing agency. There are millions of examples. BTW we have spent over $1m in ads with Facebook, 500k for ourselves this is not uncommon for random restrictions for no reason. As a marketing partner with META its still difficult for us to get any support. AS for the followers on your Instagram. contact me with your username ([email protected]) and if we can find the list in archives we will manually unfollow them for you (you will need to give us access again) Regards Ryan
